Thanks kat,
I will see how it goes.
Elle Xxx£2,000 by October 09 for Wedding got £500/£2,000Avon - C4=£170, C5=£194, C6=£119,C7=£60 (aim = £200, 60/200)0 -
I am in a similar position to Elliejay.
I was given territory of about 100 house in Camp 17. My sales leader told me it had potential of £200+ each campaign.
One street is all OAP's who never place an order so I didn't even bother with that street with C3. I have had one order of £50, one of £80 and the last one for C3 was only for £50 again. I have tried to contact her and explain but she hasn't got back to me yet.
Can anyone shed any light on whether I can just take books to those that have ordered previously or would i have to give up the whole territory?? When I delivered on Saturday, a couple of the customers asked that they still want to receive the books. I also do Avon at work and get much bigger orders there.
Can anyone offer any advice?
Regards

I see avon have had a massive influx of new agents due to a tv advertising campaign.0

I would say try again with the OAP's, maybe pop a note in highlighting the gift pages - then maybe they might buy for children/grandchildren. I've had some orders from OAP's, not for a lot, about £10 each, but they do order!
I also put a note in saying who I was, mentioning the offers I thought were good in that brochure to encourage people to have a look, and I am also running my own offer of giving them a mystery gift if they spend £20 or over. Granted, nobody has spent £20 or over, but I have had a lot of orders which I don't think I would have done otherwise - offering your own deal of a free sample/gift etc will make people realise that you're different than rep's they might have had in the past and encourage them to at least spend a little to start with, then maybe when they realise that you are reliable they will spend more.
Might be worth asking for more streets as well, I've been given 180 houses and I've only just started, if there is spare streets in your area I don't see why they wouldn't give you more.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

I'm not sure what mailplan i'm on but i must be a higher one than you lot if i'm on camp 5 lol.
Just had a £45 order from my sister who came over today :T
sad but i love it when i get orders
I no longer do territoiry due to my other jobs but when i was doing it
my area manager refused to give me any more streets
They hate giving territory away  it's really unfair for reps that want to make a real go of this as i was getting asked for books from people not on my 'streets' when i phoned ASM to ask if these houses were free she said they wern't and i would be in trouble if i delivered to them houses
It seems more and more people are getting signed up with avon every day
it's not like it was a few yrs ago with the new sales leadership
thing, i dont think there will be any territory left for any new reps.
which is pointless if you want to do this as a parttime job.
Also the score sheets they have with potential customers and sales are a load of tosh.0 -

If you give up the street just keep the regulars as friends and family0 -
also what do people think about avon being sold on ebay ????
things go for real low prices over there, did you fear you might lose customer's?
also dont you hate the online ordering with avon's website esp when they do offers like free shipping like they did a few months ago, customers can then get sent their orders straight away not having to wait for the rep to deliver.
I think avon should stop online ordering as it's unfair to reps
o.r.i.f.l.a.m.e dont do it you can only buy the products from a rep
bodyshop at home didn't used to but you can know buy online with them to they have a offer on right now with spend over £20 and get free postage.
And they also have their shops of course so another nail in the coffin.0 -

I would leave those houses til last next time though, when you've collected the rest of the books in, so as not to risk 'losing' them again.0 -
only got £67.50 sales at the moment but got alot of books to come back, on top of that I have £14 from back ordering from C4 hehe :j C4 I made £230 sales, woo.0

I'm on C6 at the minute and haven't collected orders in yet but what I will say is don't give up too soon because I've had territory that at times thought might be a waste of time at first but perceviered and found that once you've gained peoples trust that you are reliable etc they sometimes do start to order from you and the more they trust your reliability they more they sometimes order.
