Just after a bit of advice. I bought the minerals powder in C3 but it is too light. Can I return it even though I don't have the box and have opened it?

    Regards

Hey all I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice

Im thinking of leaving avon and i have not even done my first order yet. Im not doing any houses because i dont like the estate i have been given and hate the dark while walkin with a 4 yr old and 3 yr old and most people arnt in till after 5pm.
I can only do friends and family but dont have many family who will order. two mums from my sons school have asked me for a book so i have given them one. I have a mums group but dont think many of them will order.

How would you advise me on this and also how do you ask like nursery staff/groups/school if they want a book etc.. i just mentioned at school playground to the 2 mums that i had done avon.. not saying it to make them have a book as they asked me.

Anyone due a delivery this week should really check the website if your area is badly affected with the weather... i just logged on and there are certain areas that are not going to get their delivery on the scheduled day! There is a list on there of those affected.....

So far I'm not one of them... but our road is atrocious at the moment! So im a little worried about my delivery tomorrow..... and about going to deliver my little reminders tonight even though i'll be on foot! As there are people and cars skidding everywhere! One van spun out of control before and mounted the pavement opposite my house and nearly ploughed through the garden wall of the house over the road.. poor driver looked petrified!

I have just got an email to say i'll be getting my vanity bag and demo bag tomorrow as id achieved superstar status by selling over £1500 in my first campaigns! YAY!! I knew i was getting them anyway as i found my c3 (5th campaign) paperwork last night and discovered id missed reading the bit that said that in my first 5 campaigns my sales were £2152!!   :D:D:D (so + the £356ish i did in my last campaign - my sixth - im well over the £1500 :D )

Re:the car in C6 - what im wondering is how will they know we have 3 new customers???

Re: The customer avon site - Im a bit annoyed about how they promote the site on the TV and in the brochures too... yes i know everyone doesnt have a rep but nowadays if people can order online alot of people will... but suppose avon dont mind as they dont have to pay commission then do they?!!

Thanks Johanne, mine is a day late grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!
I'll now have to contact all my customers to reschedule their delivery.
Without your message, I would not have picked this up.
So THANK YOU & well done for spotting it.

Met up with my AS today, and found out how to order my stuff online which is great:D Made me feel dead proud of myself for getting so many sales as well, though I suppose she would be pleased as she'll be getting more money lol! :p

Anyway, what I wondered was - how often/many samples do you give your customers? As me and my other half thought we'd get a load of the perfume samples (as they work out at less than 10p each, the ones that are on offer that is) and give one to most people, even if they haven't ordered, along with lipstick samples too. Our thinking was to pop it inside the brochure with a note on the outside saying look inside for your free sample - then if any brochures came back with the samples still in we'd know they definately weren't interested, as they obviously then hadn't opened the brochure, as I would think most people would keep a free sample! And hopefully then I might get a few perfume orders placed as they are worth quite a bit. Has anybody else done anything similar before? And did it work!!!
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

Yes i did this in C4 with the U2 perfume, i usually try and get the samples and then include when there is also an offer - half price or free gift. I put the sample in C4 when customer also gets a bonus bag free, no one had ordered this product from me before and i got 6 orders for it. One lady liked it and then was even more tempted because of the free gift too.
