Take care everyone!

• I know it's not the same product but I personally swear by the Cream to powder foundation, as I have dry skin, and natural minerals don't work well on dry skin. I have tried all of the foundations and powders and found this gives the best converage, plus its the quickest and easiest to apply! I love it. It's on offer in c4 I think for £6.

Anyway, so I have fair skin but I tried ivory and it was too light, so I tried 'nude' and that is perfect. So perhaps you should recommend the cream to powder foundation in nude to see if she likes it.

Thanks for this Kat, I'll recommend it and see what she says!

hi everyone how's your sales going for camp 5?

Wow you must be in mailplan A or B! I am just coming to the end of C4 and was supposed to collect the last of my brochures today - about 30 of them, but looking outside at the 5 inches of snow, I'm thinking not! My deadline is due on tuesday but I might have to submit a late order again if the snow doesn't clear up!

Wow everyone's doing really well, I'm on C4 at the moment (though most of my customers are on C3 books) and between both campaigns I'm up to £178 so far and it's my first time so I'm really pleased!

For qualifying for the NRDP, where if you get above £148 in the first two campaigns (or £250) you get free samples etc - with my first order being a combination of C3 & C4 orders - will it still count towards it? Or does it have to be from completely separate books? As the orders will be submitted at the same time so I'm hoping it will count as hopefully then I might be able to reach £250 (fingers crossed)

Yes, it'll count. Even if you backorder, whatever your total is when you submit your order will be the figure they use to determine whether you get the award or not (or which one).

Fantastic!!! I did email my SL, but this was her reply:

The NRDP is above £148 in your first campaign and £148 in your second campaign or for the higher level it is £250 in 1st campaign and £250 in your 2nd campaign

Which I obviously already knew because I can read!!! O well - thanks for letting me know, I really hope I can reach the £250 mark as the free samples would be a great help :)

• Hi,

I am getting a bit annoyed.

I was originally given under 70 houses. I have put them all out and got them back in. I have only got £110 in orders, most is from family. I dont have to submit my order until 10/02/08 and I rang my Sl last night to see if I could have a few more streets to try an reach target. But she said no, lets see how you manage these for the next few months!!!!

I didn't get back 11 cats so I won't deliver there again and 6 people have said they are not interested so please don't deliver anymore.

So that only leaves me with 50 something houses!!! Why won't they give me more when I have already done what I have got and I have got a week left till I need to submit!!

I am never going to make the upper limit or my new rep things with this many.

I have told her all the above aswell!

What can I do???
£2,000 by October 09 for Wedding got £500/£2,000
Avon - C4=£170, C5=£194, C6=£119,
C7=£60 (aim = £200, 60/200)

Hi elle,

I am in sort of two minds about how to answer this for you, as I am thinking as a rep and as a sales leader.

As a rep I would say contact your sales leader again and say that 70 houses is not enough and you are not getting any orders, you want more houses or you will leave.

The sales leader side of me is thinking, that you have only just started, you are on your first campaign and it will get better.

First of all, the 11 houses who did not leave a book out, don't completely discount them as future customers, I am sure you will be surprised in a later campaign to get an order or two from those houses. The person who is my best customer now, who orders every campaign and always spends around £30-£40 every campaign, didn't start placing orders until my third campaign, and she didn't leave the brochure outside for the first 2 campaigns, so glad I didn't decide to stop delivering to her! People are busy and forgetful so just because they didn't leave it outside this time doesn't mean they are not interested.

Secondly, I believe everyone on these will account for this: most customers won't order during your first or second campaign because they think you will leave, which is true because most reps do leave quickly, therefore they will wait to see if you return a few times then will place an order.

Thirdly, during my first 5 campaigns I got more customers each campaign than the last, and in every campaign so far I have had at least 1 new person who hasn't ordered from me yet.

The 6 who are not interested is fine, that just helps you to not waste your time on them. I have over 300 houses but only deliver to 55 of them as they are the ones who have ordered or who are interested. However, I did 5 campaigns before I decided to stop delivering to every house.

Lastly, just give it a couple of campaigns and if you are still not receiving many orders then you will be in a great position to ask for some more territory, and she will likely say yes.

I hope that is helpful, hang in there Elle as we have all been there!

Good luck
