I know other people have mentioned in previous posts about not getting replies from emails - maybe the best bet would be to apply to be a rep online, then your local Avon lady will ring you up and you could ask her any questions you have over the phone or in a meeting. That's what I did and I was signed up within 2 days of applying!:D

I think there email system is faulty??? Anyway good luck! Maybe any questions you have you could post on here, I'm sure someone would answer them :)

I did apply online! then followed up with an email and still I've heard nothing!

Do you get a local paper? mine always has contact number for local area managers. Could try ringning them. When i applied i called the Customer Services off the order form and they took my details and someone phoned me the next day.

I'll try that thanks, I'm really eager to see if it's worth doing Avon in the small town I live in as OH and I could really do with some extra cash since he was laid off.

  • Hello all, Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

Does anyone know what is in the Boost your Business pack in the HT? It just says refer to previous issues for contents but I'm still none the wiser. It's the £60 one.

I got my missing items today. Came in the usual post with royal mail!

I'm having really trouble getting a mineral foundation in the right colour for my customer's skin tone. She's fair but the ivory looks too light, so she went for the next one on the colour chart which was bisque, but when it came it was far too dark. So went for next one (almond) and that's no better, still way too dark for her. I'm medium tone skin wise and I couldn't wear either of them either, just too dark! Think she might end up cancelling the order if I can't suggest something else... any ideas? Has anyone tried the ivory and is it really light?

    Thanks x

I know it's not the same product but I personally swear by the Cream to powder foundation, as I have dry skin, and natural minerals don't work well on dry skin. I have tried all of the foundations and powders and found this gives the best converage, plus its the quickest and easiest to apply! I love it. It's on offer in c4 I think for £6.

Anyway, so I have fair skin but I tried ivory and it was too light, so I tried 'nude' and that is perfect. So perhaps you should recommend the cream to powder foundation in nude to see if she likes it.

    WOW - bet you can't wait :p

Am i this board's first casualty - injured in the line of duty  Typing this with my left hand as the right is in a splint. Nearly at my front door after doing a delivery, when i slipped (on dog poo, i think) and went A over T. I could advertise all the eyeshadow colours without resorting to chemical enhancement :D Sum total is 1 very black (and blue, and red, and purple...) eye; a very swollen wrist; a shoulder which doesn't want to work at all; 3 cuts around the eye - 1 very deep, so 10 steri-strips; and assorted nicks and bruises..............4 hrs in A&E last night - not the best evening i've ever had.

Do you think i can sue someone as there doesn't seem to be any such thing as an accident these days :p

    Poor Ellie!!! :grouphug:

I hope you recover soon, that's sounds awful, and definitely the worst avon related accident I have heard on these boards but not the first. I sprained my ankle in the line of duty, was painful and was out for about a week!

Elli get better soon, irresponsible dogs make me mad.....

It's not the dog that is irrisponsible, it's the owners! I always pick up after my dog, when she doodles in public areas, although lucky for me, her area of choice is mostly high up in the brush, where no human can get too! I hate it when people don't pick up and its right on the pavement - bad enough when its on the grass!

Just submitted my C4 order.... total "sales" including all my demo bits etc was £365.33!! :D:D:D Made up with that as was a dreaded 2 week campaign.

Couple of items were showing OOS but ive just sneaked over to the customer site and ordered them as its free delivery till midnight. Just incase they dont turn up! ;)

Wow Jo that's an amazing total outside of christmas! Well done!

If you don't want to wait for the area manager - who might be on hols or big back log, you could try going through a sales leader. When I joined I submitted my info online and it took almost 2 weeks to hear from the area manager, by that time I had already signed up with a sales leader and had already collected in my first brochures. To find a sales leader I just typed into google - avon milton keynes sales leader or something to that effect, got one straight away and she signed me up the next day. If you can't find it on google let me know your address and I will find a sales leader on flissys for you who will sign you up asap.
