That make me feel a little better. Thank you. I really hope I do well. I need a little extra money each month to go towards paying for my wedding in Oct.

Well there you go. You've got an incentive to do it and a lot of people do like Avon. Congratulations on your wedding too.0 -
if anyone has a c2 book can they check something for me.a customer reckons they saw a special offer on the bronzing pearls she thinks it came with a brush but isnt sure. can anyone help
thanks beki0 -
Hi Beki - As far as I can see, the bronzing pearls did not actually come with a brush, although that whole section was buy 2, get one free, and there were both a dusting brush and a blusher brush within the offer. The pearls themselves were £8.50, dusting brush £6 and blusher brush £5.50, so if she'd bought the pearls + 1 other item at £6 or more she could have had either of the brushes free. Does that make sense
Hope that helps. I'm a sad case and have all the brochures from when I started - time for a clear out soon I think

Just looked at C1 and there was indeed a free dusting brush with the bronzing pearls. Code for pearls was 53249 and for the free brush 35568, although it's probably too late now to swear you ordered them

Hi, I started a new thread about avon, but I'll post my latest question on here as it might help new Avon ladies!
I signed up to Avon on Tuesday, she only gave me 5 books (that was all she had apparently) for C4.
She's going to give me some C3 books tomorrow, and I should also be finidng out my streets then also.
She is coming back on the 3rd with her boss (made me smile when she asked if it was ok for her boss to be there - I was thinking YES cos then she will do her job properly!) to "explain everything" as she puts it!
I thought it was just me wanting to be more organised and wanting to know the bulk of everything now - but obviously not!
She's bringing me some more books for C3 on Friday, which will hopefully be enough to do my streets, when I find out which those are, she says there should be around 100 houses so that sounds ok.
My question is - I've given out the C4 books I got given to my family and they are going to get there friends to look also, I will be giving C3 to the houses in my allocated streets - when I place my order in early Feb, in order to qualify for my commission will I need at least £78 orders from each campaign? Or, as I will then be taking C4 to the houses after that date, when I order again in March will that be added to my total for C4 from Feb to work out my commission? Or is it on each order date? If that makes sense!
Any help would be most appreciated, I'm going to email her those same questions, but want a second opinion as I have a feeling she may give vague answersAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

You need £78 per order date.. When you log into the website it will say which campaign your on and how many days till you need to order so im guessing yours would say "campaign 4.. x days left" .... But you can order from either the current book or the one before - it all counts towards your campaign 4 total.
You'll be able to choose the book your ordering from in a little drop down box beside each item on the page where you enter the product codes. So if your order is for book 3 just click the drop down box and you'll be able to select a number 3 instead. Its important to remember to check which book your ordering from though, because the price for the same item might be completely different in the other book!
When you understand it all you can start using this to your advantage in certain cases to "clever order" and get yourself some sneaky extra commission..;) But as a newbie i wouldnt even consider this just yet! As it may lead to much confusion and mistakes! So for your first campaign or so I'd recommend just thinking "this customer saw book 3, so I must remember to change the number next to the product code to a number 3"
Hope that helps - it would be so much easier to explain if I could show you what i mean! :rotfl:0 -
Thank you very much, my rep still hasn't emailed me back - but that makes sense!!! I'm pretty good on computers & the net but she's been so vague with things I suppose I've been over thinking things a bit!
I might be coming across as a bit dumb, but I'm not honestly lol! It's just taking a bit of getting used to being as I haven't got all the info I should have - but I feel much more confident now of being able to hit target everytime, especially as MIL has already decided on £20 worth of stuff
Anyway - thank you ever so much xAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Don't worry Lozza, not dim at all! We've all been there, done that, bought the T shirt but didn't know how to return it

I've just had an idea........wouldn't it be a nice idea if those of us who post regularly on here just write a couple of lines on our next post introducing ourselves? You might want to be a bit vague as to real name and location as none of us would want our customers to identify us :rotfl:
Just to start you off: I'm 65, retired, and married to the same person for almost 47 years  We have one grown-up, married, Daughter (EssexHebridean, who may be known to those of you who post on the 'old-style' boards), and last but not least, a small hairy four-legged person of the K9 persuasion
I started Avon (with great trepidation) in October 2007 to earn a bit of spending money as I need to put all my meagre pension into the food pot! In the event, it was an inspired decision, as I love it!
Now.......who's next? If no-one else joins in I'm going to feel as though I've agreed to join a mass 'streak' only to find everyone else has chickened out.........:o :rotfl:'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum
