I am new to this but have been reading the threads at the start. Well the first few hundred lol. I was wondering how it's going being a Sales Leader as I was thinking of becoming one myself. I started Avon as a rep just after Christmas. I was wondering if you can earn enough to live on as your main job as I am fed up of being messed about by employment agencies.
Ps. How do you manage to campaign 800 homes??
Anne
Hi Anne
I love sales leadership, but it is hard work recruiting new reps, don't let anyone kid you otherwise! Once you have found people though, they look after themselves, so after a few campaigns it's money for nothing. However, it takes a bit of time to build it up to a living wage, which is why I currently canvass 800 homes, so I can make my money up that way. You have to be organised! I'll post more this evening, if you PM me your email address I'll send you some stuff over that way too.

:hello: anyone putting their camp 3 order through tonight?
havent done to well this time, only £50 will i get commision at all?0 -
Hope someone can advise me!!
I currently work part time in a pub and do Avon aswel.
I'm due to have my second baby on the 20th July and wandered if anyone knows what happens about doing avon whilst claiming Maternity Allowance. I'm guessing i am not officailly meant to do this but i'm obviously keen not to stop with the avon as i have alot of very good customers.
My area is the street i live on so it will be easy for me to continue serving the regular customers. Would i have to transfer my account into someones else's name temporarily???
If anyone has done this or knows more info please help me
Thanks in advance
clazzle
I looked into this when my best friend was on maternity, as she joined avon for a while. You are allowed to be self-employed and it won't affect your money in any way, however, if you work for an employer you are only allowed 10 keep in touch days. The info is on the HMRC website if you want to check for yourself.

I'm putting mine in tonight.. i have £255ish BUT about £60 of that is for stuff for myself and demo stuff and £40 is from my OH.
If i remember rightly the 20% commission level is lowered to £52 for this campaign so might be worth making it up to £52 so you at least get some commission even if its only about a tenner.0 -
Blimey just got some of our C2 books back and we are at £375 already , i think missing the last 2 campaigns out was a good call as it was too close and too soon after xmas
I did pretty well this campaign too, although it's c3 for me. I also skipped c2 as it was over christmas and I wanted a break. My final tally for c3 was £410 in sales and I am totally thrilled! I thought it would be a big drop after christmas, but it's still doing really well - I love my customers!

whats the largest number of houses people have on avarage
????is 300 too many??
I have about 350 houses but over the campaigns I have reduced them down to only people who have told me they are interested and those who have previously ordered, so it is reduced significantly down to 58, but out of those 58 potentials I made £410 this campaign!
I don't think 300 is too many for me, but it depends if you have the time at the beginning to do all the houses, it took me so many hours to do that many houses, now it takes about 1hr 30 mins to get around the 58 which are spread out over several roads.

How is everyone anyway? I haven't been on for aaaaaages, so I haven't caught up with the thread yet (will do soon though!) I've taken on extra territory, I now have 800 homes, plus I am frantically recruiting, so that doesn't leave me so much time! Anyway, I'll post properly when I've caught up.
A happy, healthy, and belated 2009 to all

Hi is anyone else disappointed with the organiser you get with the incentive program?
Mine looks nice, you open it up and you get a pad for notes and a calculator which
doesn't work... a space for a pen but not one included.
Am i just being too fussy or was it worth the effort...0
