Just print in greyscale then :)
  • Says on the Avon email newsletter (rec'd today) that they'll be sending out recession flyers with C3 orders? Lets hope so, I don't fancy all that printing, even in grayscale! With the credit crunch flyer, I just printed off a couple and showed it to regular customers and F&F.

C4 is a massive book as well (nearly 200 pages) PLUS the sale flyer and now the recession flyer too!

Id love to but to do a flyer for everyone of my 50 books i ordered/ regular customers who i usually drop to at once its still 550 pages to print off and the paper and ink cost involved in doing that!

Maybe I'm just being fussy but im not willing to do that :o:confused::confused:

Ooh thanks! I havent received that yet..... that does make it better... !! :D

I have had 4 F&F give me their C4 orders already so guess they will see the recession flyer in C5 as its valid for both. I'm thinking it maybe it would be better just put it with C5? That way customers wont be ovewhelmed as you say with the huge book/sale book + the extra flyer!!

Hello to all you AVON ladies. I am thinking of joining I live in derby and just wondered if you think it is worth it. Id like to earn 20-30 per week, do you think this is a reasonable amount to acheive?

    Hi Elle,

I have been doing avon since september, and if you read back through the thread you will see how much I made each campaign. I started out with just 110 houses and then got a bigger round from my area manager after a couple of months, I know have about 350 houses, over the campaigns I have reduced it down to just 58 prospective customers and am currently making I would say about £40 a week in commission, so it is do-able but you will need a large area or some good family and friends who order regularly. I do believe that £20-30 a week is achievable, but it varies per area so don't expect it right off the bat.

    Take care

ok, any ideas as to what I could do then? You cannot get into the back garden from the front, I dont have a garage and I really can not have it delivered to work as I don't want them to know I have a second job.

Oh my, mabe this was a bad idea. I have read a few posts on here though where people have spoken to the delivery company to see if they will deliver at a certian time. Has anyone in Derby done that?

Do you have any friends, family or neighbours who you can get it delivered to? It can be different each campaign too, basically when you start you put your address, then each time you submit your order you put in the address you want to deliver it to, so if one campaign your mum might be able to be in for you, or your friend or neighbour or whatever?

Please be careful who you choose tho, they must be in your same area.
A rep on my team asked if i could take her delivery which is due today.. I agreed to.
She lives 2 streets away from me but is in a different area so now her delivery will be here next tuesday.
    A bit mad really..

  • I don't have anyone then. It is a bit much to expect my neighbour to take the delivery every three weeks. Only other people are in the next villiage which I don't think will be my area.

When you say area do you mean like the same post code area, or avon areas. OHHH I don't know what to do know.

Will they use the same delivery company each time? As the only other Idea I have got is we have got a hugh recycling bin for paper which we never use. I could get a chain and a pad lock for that and give a key to the delivery man. Do you think this will be ok?

    Elle
£2,000 by October 09 for Wedding got £500/£2,000
    Avon - C4=£170, C5=£194, C6=£119,
    C7=£60 (aim = £200, 60/200)

    Hi Elle,
You could always call the depot to see if they would deliver to the next village to you, they probably would, do you know the number of your local depot? someone could find it for you if you dont - its normally WHT ...., ie, I live in Bournemouth but my depot is Bristol and they cover far and wide lol,
I would be unsure about giving or leaving a key for them as most of the time its the same guy, but sometimes they change shifts... What about any other local reps, if you could find one through the area manager they might help you as would be in anyways, i take in 2 lots of reps stuff for my team...
