Hi is anyone else disappointed with the organiser you get with the incentive program?
Mine looks nice, you open it up and you get a pad for notes and a calculator which
doesn't work... a space for a pen but not one included.
Am i just being too fussy or was it worth the effort...

Hmm interesting my calculator doesnt work either!! Which is annoying as i use my good scientific one at home and am worried about it getting bashed in my rep bag.

i have used my organiser, its been handy as previously i was using a pocket notepad which was fiddly at times (my OH gave me one his spare notebooks from work so it had the "you do not have to say anything but anything you do say... blah blah blah" printed on inside - which got some funny looks when people came to the door :o :rotfl: )

I have my "i called" cards tucked in under the calculator bit.. and received my business cards i ordered from vistaprint today so will be tucking some of them in the other pouch by the (non working) calculator. I did think for getting £250 in sales we should have got a pen for the holder too like  :p

Im not overly impressed but it it does look more "professional" than a scruffy notepad and it was "free" so suppose you cant complain... although i am tempted to email avon and ask for a replacement calculator!!
  • I shall also put my cards inside, i agree it looks nice but i have bought a lovely one from my local garage for £4 this includes a diary, working calculator and pen and big pockets for cards or receipts etc.
I will be using the Avon one for prospecting only and yes i am going to email about the calculator as i worked hard to get it. lol
  • Hello to all you AVON ladies. I am thinking of joining I live in derby and just wondered if you think it is worth it. Id like to earn 20-30 per week, do you think this is a reasonable amount to acheive?

    Hi Ellejay

Depends how much work you want to do? You will get paid every 3 weeks so £60 every 3 weeks is easily achievable. It also depends how much territory you get and how many family and friends order etc. It will vary each campaign. But yes I think it is worth doing as you get to meet some lovely people.

    Hope this helps.

That's brilliant :T . Did it take you long to build up that many customers? Sorry for all the questions. I am just interested.

    Thanks

  • If you tell me your area number, which was given to you when you started, and you needed it to register online, then I can tell you your mailplan.

    Kat x

    Hi Kat

I know this is an old thread but I was wondering if you could tell me my mailplan please? I am in area 351.

    Best wishes

:rotfl: Well, I think it's poetic justice :rotfl:

Seriously though, do you get the feeling they had a duff batch and gave them as incentives just to get rid of them?............a bit cheeky, if so. You'll be pleased to know I don't really begrudge you a reward for all your hard work :D

Welcome Ellejay - go for it! How much you earn really depends firstly how much work you are prepared to put in, and secondly what sort of area you have. If you don't try, you'll never know, and after all you're not signing up for life ;)

PS - just had a really silly thought re the calculators. I suppose you don't have to remove a plastic tab from the battery or something?.............just a thought!!
