Hi, sleepy so can'tfigure out the quoting thing.
My old AM asked me to order the hand cream once as well, I am sure its so they have an order from every rep on their list, it makes them look good.
I e mailed her back, since she said she would close my account by today if I didn't get in touch. I was pretty curt to be honest, but did ask to change my territory and she wrote back and said yes to that, but she is a bit snippy frankly even in her Avon messages!
I am tackling the whole books/ tax thing sunday. shudders.
I shall catch up properly tomorrow just wanted to up date xxxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
hi wonder if anyone can answer this one, avon sent me four pots of anew day cream to try and sell - even though i said no one was interested, and they arent!! i think one pot was free and three i am going to have to pay for - but i wanna send them back - as ive not been charged yet do i need to fill out a return product online? and do i return them all? next order has to go in monday so trying to sort this without hassle of phoning avon up. thanks.0

1 pot is free when you buy 3 IIRC , i would send it all back
Just put them on a return form or in the internet order as a return, you get charged next campaign i think0 -
Aw Buffy - I'd be pretty upset at that too! (beware everyone - the smiley tags are mixed up this morning - the 'grouphug' one shows as 'dance' )
Some people just get a sense of power when they are in that sort of position. Unfortunately you're stuck with her but if she continues to be so unsupportive, then maybe an email to Avon........................?
Yes, you can definitely have territory away from your home, in fact I'd been doing Avon for around a year before I got my home area.
I found that the tax thing was much easier than I expected. When I was Self employed about 15 years ago, you had to detail every last penny of expenses, but now they seem happy with an amount for earnings and a total amount of expenses (but keep a note of the breakdown, just in case they ask). I even got a small rebate on overpayment from when I was workingI use Excel with a sheet for each campaign - just list the customers and the amount owing - which you can then print and use when you're doing your deliveries. You can give yourself a box for the amount paid to Avon and one for your profit. PM me with your email addy and I'll send you a copy of mine if that would help.
Keep smiling and don't let the bar stewards grind you down
Hi Ellie, can I be cheeky & ask you for a copy too pls? I'm trying to make one up & not happy with it at all. I've PMd you my email addy, ty xxxxx0 -
Hi ladies,
I really need some help in sorting out my Avon. It's taking up alot more of my time that I had hoped for. Yes I am making good money from it BUT I'm using alot of petrol & time going back and forth.
I do 2 big roads which have about 400 houses. I do one road a campaign behind to make good use of my books. It's about 3 miles away from where I live but close to my little girls preschool. I thought that I could get it done in the 3 mornings that she is at school but I have been finding that I am also having to go back out in the afternoon too. When I first started these roads 3 campaigns ago, I canvassed every house and put a note through the door to say ask if they wanted a brochure in future so I could concentrate on the people that did want it. But I haven't managed to go back to the people that didn't order but didn't say they didn't want a book.
I just find that I am going back and forth collecting brochures, dropping them off etc.
Last campaign I just delivered my brochures to the people that did order and I found it more easier, I only did £120 though.
Thing is I love Avon and doing it and I have started to resent doing it purely because it's taking up alot of time.
Have you got any tips on how I can keep going but for it not to take up bags of my time. Or am I doing to much? Neither roads are big earners on their own and I like all my ladies so I don't know what to do?
Any ideas?
Thank yoooooooooo! xx0 -
Hi, just need some advice from you avon-ladies.
i have made my first order with Avon, a huge £3 ordera few weeks ago...
When I log into the account on avon's webpage it says:£3.00

Processing

They have charged the card from the first day ... how much longer do you think it may take for me to get the order? For the value of the order I'm not calling them to complain (it will cost more the phone call than the order, is there any email that I can write or anything else that I could do?0 -
Hi Mess - if you go into your homepage on the website (after you've logged in), there is a 'contact us' link at the bottom r/h side of the page. An email will cost you nothing. They usually send an immediate acknowledgment but take a day or two to answer properly. Good luck'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Morning all
I'm placing my C1 order this evening ... I know my MOV has been reduced to (i think) £52 but has the 25% level reduced too? I placed customer orders and was at 20% then ordered something for my mothers b'day totalling £7 and it's now shows as 25% even though total cost to Avon is only about £128wanted to check the subtotal isn't lying before I place my order.
