  • Hello,

I have posted on this thread before, but not for ages.

I have had a dreadful first campign, been ill so order was really late and NO ONE ordered from Work,

my sister ordered and so did I but I submitted it yesterday - 3 days late and then got an e mail from my AM saying that she noticed I hadn't ordered (e mail sent monday I think) and if she didn't hear from me by the end of the week I would have my account closed!!!

I thought that was really out of order? and a little extreme. Also she is my AM and that was her first e mail to me?

I am doing camp 2 just for me and doing three with customers - well my work and perhaps home.

Its a real shame cos i have the cards, the bags, the free gifts but no one in my road will buy Avon, I would really like to move territory, but can you have one that is not connected to your home?

I am still in the process of sorting out tax and stuff. do you guys keep your accounts on spreadsheets?

I am really upset about the e mail. silly isn't it!

    xx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Buffy its not silly at all. Email your AM back explaining the situation. She should be there to support you! Ask here if there is any way you can have some different roads. How many times have you canvessed your road? It might take a couple of times for people to trust you and to order from you. You will always get help and supports here so please keep trying. Hugs to you
  • Aw Buffy - I'd be pretty upset at that too! (beware everyone - the smiley tags are mixed up this morning - the 'grouphug' one shows as 'dance' )

Some people just get a sense of power when they are in that sort of position. Unfortunately you're stuck with her but if she continues to be so unsupportive, then maybe an email to Avon........................?

Yes, you can definitely have territory away from your home, in fact I'd been doing Avon for around a year before I got my home area.

I found that the tax thing was much easier than I expected. When I was Self employed about 15 years ago, you had to detail every last penny of expenses, but now they seem happy with an amount for earnings and a total amount of expenses (but keep a note of the breakdown, just in case they ask). I even got a small rebate on overpayment from when I was working :D I use Excel with a sheet for each campaign - just list the customers and the amount owing - which you can then print and use when you're doing your deliveries. You can give yourself a box for the amount paid to Avon and one for your profit. PM me with your email addy and I'll send you a copy of mine if that would help.

Keep smiling and don't let the bar stewards grind you down :D

  • Hi Emma - I've got a sort of general one that I did for my C2 (starting Dec 29th) if that's any help. It might be quicker to adapt that than start from scratch. I haven't seen the C3 book yet so can't be much help on that one. I think I might have your email addy; i'll have a look when I've submitted this

PS - I had, and I've sent you a copy
