Ta muchly Elliebee, very very helpful, and very very kind of you to share it.
Debt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!
:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!
  • Thanks Elliebee - That looks great xx
  • in the post today i got a welcome letter and a new cat to look at.As yet havnt had a phonecall off anyone though. Will be taking the new book to dance lessons with me to show the mums and see if i can get some orders before avon actually phone.
I want to earn around 20 a mounth for my self am i right in thinking that means i have to have orders of 80+(little bit extra to cover cats/bags etc).
hope i get my phonecall soon i really want to start in jan
  • to earn about £20 from a campaign depnding on your book numbrs you would need orders over £140 to get £20 clear profit

£140 at 20% commision is £28 profit and then you take away costs of books and other items (I have averaged it at £8 - might be more or less once you take away costs of start up packs, books per campaign and other sales items added on over the months)

You would need to make sure all your items were full priced and from customers book to earn the commision as demo items dont count.

    Hope that makes sense?

At the moment I'm making about £50 every campaign (which are 3 weeks long).

Well I won the Level 2 iNRDP award for LOA 3&4, the samples are nice but I was disappointed the Hello Tomorrow organiser isn't A4 size. It's a black zip up folder containing an A5 notepad + credit card sized calculator, another credit card sized pocket (for business cards?), an A5 sized pocket and a pen holder. Now I look at it the next day though it's growing on me!

Well I still haven't heard any word back from Flissys. I'll wait till I'm an official Sales Leader and try again, maybe I'll be deemed important enough then! My ASM doesn't want me to even bother joining, she said I should team up with a Sales Leader she has in mind who is already a member and we can share leads... even with the best will in the world, the one who's got the access will have the best leads!

Got an order with no address, I can narrow it down to 101 houses! Have checked all the previous orders and can't match the handwriting, so I'll just have to knock on every single door I guess.

FYI I got my C4 books through, the first 36 pages are all ANEW! It also comes with a Sale leaflet. I do like the new Contents style they're doing on the first pages as you open the book. Makes things much easier.
The new order forms look very jazzy but aren't very economical! I'll be sending an email to Avon passing on my concerns too about the inability to re-use them for future campaigns, not being very eco-friendly!

Glad to hear you're all doing well,
(apart from you Buffy! I thought it was 3 missed orders before your account was closed, it may be an idea to ask your ASM for clarification, also maybe say you'd appreciate maybe some tips and ideas for boosting sales. Be nice without it coming across as obsequious, if she isn't helpful it maybe an idea to go to Avon. Good luck.)
and congrats Deanos & Co. for getting PC!
    :)

LOL - don't knock it; it's more than some of us get :D

Aaaargh  - i've been quite lucky with my 'no address' ones and have recognised the writing on both occasions. Could you print up a little slip saying 'if you placed an Avon order, then please contact me' ? You might be lucky, but if not, then you could still knock (depends on how short of time you are). I suppose if the person can't be bothered to get in touch, then they might not be easy to pin down for payment - that's one way of looking at it at least!

Oh, and, yes, I thought it was 3 campaigns before your account is closed. Sounds like there might be a bit of intimidation going on there!

I though the same but just got an email from my ASM saying
Please keep your account active by placing a small order i.e. Rich Moisture
Handcream 23739 £2.00. This can be posted to you so you don't have to stay
in for delivery! and ensures the account stays open.

I'm ok though as I've got £120+ orders :T won't get my free vanity bag though [STRIKE]does anyone know of any out of stock items

Yes the ASM's seem to bull**** , we got told we need to order in C1 as its where Avon get the figures from to order catalogues for the next financial year hmm yeah

We just ordered some books for C2 which will be here on the 23rd, think she is putting pressure on people to order so her figures look good, the delivery driver the other week said that all the other reps he spoke to were not ordering in C1 due to the delivery date.
  • well i got all signed up today.
have already taken some books to dds school and given them out to pick up when we go back on jan 6th, mum has some to take into work and will be taking some to dance class tomorrow.
DH will also take some to work but dont thing will get anything from there (hes in the navy but has a few women on his ship so heres hoping)
cant wait to get started and hope it goes well xxx
