Heres a good tip for recenvasing, just check out http://www.nethouseprices.com/index.php?con=Search-Sold-House-Prices and it will show you when houses last sold, so potential new customers :j
  • :T What a brilliant idea Deanos - you're a star for bringing that to our attention (just wish I'd thought of it :D )

  • Hi guys,

I had the most awful experience on Friday evening, there I was eating my dinner when there was a knock at the door, I answered it and guess what? There was a guy on my doorstep asking if I'd like an Avon book!!!! I've been allocated my road as my territory so I was really shocked and upset. I was too shocked to ask the right questions (I know, I'm stupid!) all the info I managed to get out of this guy was that his girlfriend is the actual Avon rep, he wouldn't tell me her name so there was nothing else I could do except complain to my ASM! He demanded to know what roads I covered, but I was a bit vague as he'd probably just go and knock on them anyway. The problem I've got is that I've just been allocated 2 roads (the ones next to my road) and I haven't had a chance to give out any brochures yet - what if he's already been round and pinched all the customers? I couldn't do anything yesterday as I was out all day on a trip, but it's all I've been able to think about.

What I want to know is... what would you do?
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.:p

Get in touch with your ASM to tell them.

Check with your neighbours to see if they've been given a book - if they have, you'll be able to get the other rep's name from there.
Shouldn't worry too much about the bloke, he's probably been sent out by his girlfriend and was as shocked as you were... and worried he was gonna get in with 'er indoors!

I was pulling out my order forms from the books the other day and found one with another rep's name on it. One of the doors I'd knocked on had a young lady who told me she does herself, so I'm hoping she's given me back one of her books back by accident.
When I do my rounds though I'll ask my customers if they've had another book through.
    :)

    My question for today....

For my C18 I just scraped over the £250 level, however I've got some returns from C17.
Will the credits be taken off my C17 order value? Or C18? I'm sure it's taken off the campaign you ordered from but paranoia has paid a visit.

I don't want my C18 order value to drop below £250, cuz I really want the higher iNDRP prizes!
    :)

I did my first credit the other day ... should it have come off my balance?

  • A friend who's an Avon Rep in the USA told me how useful she found these doorknob bags. She sent me a photo & I've found them on Ebay (with a bomb for postage). I think they look really useful, so how comes we don't get them here in the UK?

Anyway, I want to say a huge thank you to a certain Kat who frequents these boards...
    :T

Guess what? My ASM has just called me from her review. The lovely Brendan from marketing is coming to our meeting again next week, her manager wanted to know all about the Coventry Brendan fan club. Apparently it's been noted that 'someone' on an internet forum told people that he's fit, and that 'someone' told him and he's embarrassed about it.

    :lovethoug

    :rotfl:

    :D

Anyway, I'm not sure what he's coming down for this time but Brendan + freebies = me there! Also they want to quote something I said last time somewhere... can't remember what I even said now, hope it wasn't anything embarrassing. Though lets face it, it's gonna be a little awkward anyway. I did ask my ASM to pass on the message that I'm attached and just have nothing better to do with my life :o

Should I take a bow or apoligise! :o;)

I hope it's not too embarrassing for you! Although if you get extra freebies thanks to me I guess I can feel good about that! Let me know how it goes!

p.s been away from boards for a while as I have been sick with an ear infection, still hasn't gone away so going to doctors this week, feel crappy.
