I have just got back from collecting my C17 books. My OH and I delivered about 60 books, only 28 were left out with 2 orders!! Thank goodness my regular customers at work always order stuff.

I'm a bit disappointed but I think I will give it one more campign which takes me up to Christmas as anyway. C17 is delivered in 2 weeks time.

Do other people have any advice for me as I feel quite down hearted and feel it's not worth all the extra time and effort.

    Hey Emma

Im pretty new to this, but the advice I think I would give is to stick in at it and try not to get dishearted. Its all hard work in the begining you've got to be prepared to put the graft in, but once you establish regular customers it should become easier. Im ready to start my streets now and im preparing myself that i will get more books back without orders than with, at least that way if I do beter its a bonus. With my first campaign I did well but it was all friend family and work orders, so I still need to build up my customers from my territory.

Keep at it, im sure it will be worth it in the end.;)

Blimey, who is your area manager Shelley? Did you read your contract? It says there that it's your responsibility to declare it! You may not have to pay anything out, but you still have to register self-employed, and anyone who tells you otherwise to get your signature is despicable. Because if you got caught, it would be you that got into trouble not them, and all ASMS and SLs know fully well that you have to declare. Sorry but that just makes me so angry!!! Seriously, who is your ASM?
  • Emma & PP - try not to be too disheartened. :grouphug: You often find that things can turn round in the space of a day. Every time I start off thinking I'm not even going to make MOV, but I always have. I don't think it helps that you have so few brochures at the start as it means you can only do a few at a time, instead of 50 or 60. Give it a bit longer - I'm no super saleswoman and I've done over £300 this campaign.

Sad individual that I am, I've done a 'Bra Sizing Guide' info sheet taken from the article in HT. If anyone would like it, just pm your email addy and I'll send it on.

I was told exactly the same thing so I'd sign up and it wasn't until afterwards that I found I had to declare it.

Has anyone else taken advantage of the Bond Girl Perfume Money maker offer???? I ordered 6 and Ive sold 4 already to family and friends, I should have ordered more now.;)

Whilst making the next order I told them that I needed to order more as I had made a mistake and thought they came in packs of three and had orderd 3 and could I have the other six and they sent them

Am not very impressed at the moment just found out there is some one trying to move in on my territory am not happy !! but I already have £150 of orders and haven't put any books out yet ! My mum is a star and took a book in to tescos and got me £50 worth of orders and might be even more to come.

    Hi Dreamy,
Yes I ordered 6 of the moneymakers and so far I have sold 3 and given 1 as a present, so two left and another campaign of handing out c17's (as I back order half my roads).
I have only sold 1 Ungaro's so bond girl much better.
