    Hello ladies!
I just want to know if anyone have an ALANIS bag. Badly needed for my customer/sis-in-law, she's been wanting it for ages but AVON keep on saying Out of stock but then keep on putting it on SALE which is really frustrating! Any help would be so much appreciated. PM me and thanks a lot.

    Hey,
Just wanted to say hi to everyone,:hello: as I am new to the forum and new to doing Avon. Just started this week and Ive already got £250 in orders so far and thats without canvasing any doors yet, so doing not too badly. Am I correct in thinking that I will have to pay anything above £200 upfront on my first order??? Any advice would be appreciated. Also I noticed that some sellers on ebay are managing to sell the Ungaro Perfume 50ml with the gift set for £13.00 delivered.................how on earth are they managing to do that???? any ideas:rolleyes:

Re Ungaro, there are only two scenarios I can think of:
    1) They are selling at a slight loss in the hope that it will lead to further sales, either through 'check out my other items and combined delivery' or by enclosing a catalogue and hoping it leads to further sales. It's a risk, but sometimes it will pay off.
    2) I really hope it's not this... a week or so ago Corby did a special sale at the legendary outlet store for anyone doing a breast cancer crusade party. The idea was that they sold items really, really cheap so that more money could be raised for the Crusade. They had Ungaro and Bond for £2 each. I really, really hope this isn't that stock up there.

Re the credit limits, you may have to pay a deposit, but be warned, sometimes they make you pay the whole balance. Best thing to do is call your ASM or upline sales leader and find out what your credit limit is. How good is your credit rating? If it's poor, you'll probably have to pay for the WHOLE order upfront if you go over your credit limit.

After receiveing confirmation my SL, I went on my first brochure drop last night. I'd only got 20 C17 brochures that I ordered with my last order so I thought I'd make a start before receiving extra C17 books with my delivery next week.

My SL hadn't got any spare C17 books unfortunately so I have to buy all the ones I need. I also can't find my original calling book so I've had to order a new one. :o

My husband has even offered to drop the brochures on the other streets next Friday morning as he is on an afternoon shift :j so that saves me a job.

Fingers crossed I get some orders from all this work!!

Hi and welcome! Great orders for your first campaign, very well done!!!

You should contact your sales leader or area manager to get your credit limit, but it usually ranges from £250 to around £500. I signed up 6 reps this week, and they were all different ages, backgrounds, houses etc and the lowest limit was £300 so you will probably be ok, but definitely best to check with your sales leader.

Are they selling more than one of that perfume? If only one in stock, my guess would be that they are selling the free perfume their got with their starter kit, I got ungaro and a full lipstick etc, so you could afford to sell that at any price as it's a freebie - much better to believe that then what kerrie said about the corby breast cancer crusade thing. They might have had an extra freebie from a customer order, as customers always forget freebies, of course I always tell them and include it in their order, but not everyone does.

  • Hey all,
First post but have been reading this post frequently since I began selling Avon three campaigns ago.
I'm begining to add my order on to the website of orders I already have, but when I press Subtotal its showing me I'm buying everything at full price and not getting any discounted or making any earnings. Anyone have any idea's why that is, in previous campaigns I could see how much I was earning while going along.
    Many thanks
