Well may I say I have had a great C18 my aplogies to those who didn't/ aren't having a great one - I don't mean to gloat honest. I'm just made up and I got it in on time (not like the last one)! I like to think I can start to maximise my potential now to increase sales And its all thanks to the tips on this forum; honest! Without the wisdom from you ladies I'd have been stuck so major thanks to all of you

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knew of any websites that sell cheap wicker baskets?
As an incentive to customers for Xmas im offering them a free gift basket with avon products when they spend over £20, already had quite a few customers take up the offer so seems to be working!

I just thought that I would mention - if anyone has young kids, the spatulas (item number 82834) make great glue spreaders - and they are free! Every couple of orders I get 20 or 30 of them!

hi ya all. got 280.00 of orders for c1 already!! so excited. and 19 days till my order is due in!!

one question. i just paid my balance via card online. how long before my balance starts to show as 00.00????

I'm worried that customers who ordered from C18 will be upset by huge savings they could have made in C1 when they get the brochure?

I cant work out how to manage these campaigns, I live 10 mins from my territory..

C18 in 27th Nov
Dropped C1 to new territory today, not given to existing customers yet
C1 order due 11th Dec
C2 due 30th Dec
C3 due 15th Jan
Some customers have vouchers for C2 order due Dec 30th
If C2 customers order anything they should have C1 the competition book

I want to do C2 and C3 together for 15th Jan and miss C1 but....
what about the mortgage competition ?
what about missing an order?
how can we get get MOV's or HOV's consecutively for rewards like this? (HIT HOV in C18)

Away for xmas so 30th dec a none-starter

I cant work out how to do this as only had 7 orders from territory, rest was F+F

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed as well. Am just thinking I'll do as much as I sensibly can - if some customers don't get all the catalogues for all the short campaigns then that's that

Of course, I will still be berating myself when I don't hit MOV :embarasse

Think I'll still follow my ASR's advice of doing one stop selling. Can't see I've got any other choice really!!!!

Don't know of any websites but 99p stores are doing wicker baskets at the moment although they are quite large. I have made up 12 avon hampers and am going to try and sell them at my sons school bazaar on sat. Am hoping I will make a few quid (also got avon tombola with all the stuff i've collected with creative ordering over past couple months) and hopefully gain a few new customers:D as have only really got friends and family ordering at the moment (even though I have canvassed my territory about 4 or 5 times:mad:)

to give my new reps a small helping hand i am going to give them a small amount of samples..just so they can see what they are like...a year planner (the avon ones obviously, for putting their order dates etc in)...an example of what a order form should look like and an example of a bad one,...a printed map (off aa) with their streets highlighted.
can anyone think of anything else that wouldve been handy to have ...that doesnt cost me anything or very little...that i can give my new reps.

What I give all my new reps, apart from the obvious brochures & order forms lol,
is enough resealable bags for their first lot of brochures so that they can get going asap (and to help them realise that they make a different to getting your books back!), and about 25ish calling cards - works out pretty cheap per rep with you getting 100 for 60p.

Although we only get refunded for 40 brochures in total, I tend to give my reps 60 - at their first appointment I give them 20 of the current brochure & 20 of the previous brochure, then on the second appointment I give them 20 brochures for the upcoming campaign. Helps to get them off to a better start I feel.

Noticed in your previous posts that you've only just started as a SL - so during your first 2 campaigns as a SL your asm will be providing all brochures & sign up packs for all people you appoint. But when you place your next order I order order lots of the upcoming brochures & plenty of appointment packs, that way you have them in ready for when you are onto being in your third campaign as a SL. You don't get charged for brochures now until 2 campaigns later.hth
