I give presents to my most loyal customers - value depends on what they usually spend. The Christmas lip balm is only 50p, so some will be getting that!

  • How does the actual signing-up process work? is there an application form? what kind of information is required? is id required? what kind of checks are performed? do people ever get turned down - if so on what grounds?

    Thanks in advance

Hi, it depends. If you are already a rep, then it is a discussion with your upliner - your SL or ASM to let them know you are ready to be and SL. They have to notify Avon that you wish to become an SL, and you have to fill in a form, sign it, and your upliner signs it too. This is sent to Avon.

If you are not already a rep, and want to become an SL with Avon, you will have to provide 2 types of Id, one photo and one proof of address. Avon will do a credit check to see if you have done Avon before and if you owe them money. Yes people have been turned down - those who owe Avon money.
  • Hi,

Delivered to a customer today, who would really like to order something they think is brill but hasn't been in any of the recent brochures.... (Possibly last year - if not earlier - when they ordered it last!)

It's called Avon BeBronze, self tanning cream for face, SPF6, 50 ml

Any chance of getting hold of any and if so, what's the no pls?

    Thanks.

    Hi everyone,

I've been reading this thread for awhile and want to say thanks to everyone for posting some really great ideas. :T

I am on my 3rd campaign and not doing too badly. I did do Avon about 4 years ago but stopped when I became pregnant with my second daughter 2 years ago as got a bit annoyed with deliveries and other issues. Didn't deter me too much as I'm back doing it again but I'm not going to let it stress me out like it did last time!! lol

I had my first call from Avon since re-joining with one of the money making offers, they were trying to get me to buy some aftershave and perfume gift sets. Politely said no as none of my customers really order the fragrances that were on offer. Almost an hour later I have received another call from Avon introducing me to the same offer  Do any of you get many calls this late at night?? I don't mind them calling me but I'm not going to impressed if they make a habit of calling late and wake my youngest daughter up!!

    Hi Sarah,

welcome to the thread. Next time they call, just ask them to remove you from their calling list. That way no late night calls.
