Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

Yes I started doing avon when we moved to a new area and I didn't know really where my territory was! There are loads of new estates and my territory is all new(ish) houses. I had to go for a drive round to start with to find out where I was and to work out what the house numbers were so I could start writing out my order forms!!! One road was so new it wasn't even on streetmap!!

Only done one campaign so far, and this morning someone at work commented that they thought I'd lost weight. I can only assume it is down to pounding the streets!!!

my area is a new development. sainsburys couldnt deliver my food shop as their satnav did not recognise the address!!! The house numbers are all over the place so ended up writing the some houses down twice for some reason.
Finding the afternoons getting dark earlier a pain as thats when i can go out aswell as evenings otherwise i have to take two kids who are hyenas when they need to be quiet. I feel like i shouldnt be knocking when dark.:o
Got a party to go to tonight. was invited by one of the ladies i gave a brochure too. i dont know her and i know many of the neighbours will be there so should go for orders but not the most confident person. how do i come across as a nice neighbour aswell as getting as many people to buy as possible. (quite a posh area-and im not):rotfl:

Yes we are a new road as well, great fun trying to get anybody to deliver anything!! My first drop was on our road, not many houses lived in and some had no house number so I ended up writing down "helpful" hints, like picture frames in kitchen window!!! Was a bit of a nightmare really so think I'll just drop to the ones with house numbers this time.

That's brilliant that your neighbour has invited you to a party! What a great way to get to know everyone. You know what girls are like, they'll start talking about someone's lipstick or something and you'll be in there like a shot ... have you tried Avon? etc etc etc ... If you've got anything avon take it with you then people can try your perfume, lip gloss etc.

I now have to go out on the day my first delivery is due. On my details on the website I want to put 'please leave in black dustbin just inside the gate in the back garden' down for alternative but it only lets you put in a few characters. I also dont know how much there will be, order is around £300. Any ideas?

What about 'pls put in blk dustbin inside back garden gate' - will that fit?

PS: You may be lucky and find that your deliveries come a day early (mine do) - fingers crossed!

Hello eveyone.
I'm ready to place my first oder online. This time I got few orders and total is £80. There is a yellow mark next to some of the items i'm going to order. So i'm wondering, will i get my commisions if there is somethig unavailable or out of stock and becuase of that my total order will drop down to £70?
