I wouldn't worry about the yellow dots, especially on items in the main brochure, I find they almost always turn up - especially things like the shower gels etc.

Great idea doing a party - definately get some samples to things like foundation/lipsticks so that they can have a try and its hygienic too. And maybe have some of the 99p bits for them to buy on the day - I think theres some nailpolish and makeup remover at 99p in brochure 1 which could be good for their age......I wouldn't worry about building up stocks - as of course you can order the products, let them try them out - and then return them for credit if they don't buy them (which isn't likely if a few of them have tried them, they will probably order out of the brochure) so it wouldn't cost you anything!!!

  • Quick query peeps - a customer ordered a lipstick but when it's arrived the colour sticker at the end looks a lot lighter than the colour in the brochure. (Assume the sticker on the product is more accurate than the brochure.) They want a replacement - never done the 'immediate replacement' before..... If I go that route will it mean I get a big box with just one lipstick in it (seems a bit of a waste to me) and/or will they just post one out to me and- either way - how long will it take to come?

Thanks in advance of any/all input.

They tend to just post small/single/few items out in a jiffy bag via royal mail xx

edit: and it takes about a week to come (they say 5-7 working days) xx

No they will post it out to you if its only a few small items - usually takes anywhere between 5-10 days, so if your next delivery is sooner than that, I'd just request a "replacement" then it will come with your order - or if you next delivery is a while off, then request an "immediate replacement".hth

Bargain bags cant be returned  , you can return individual items if someone has ordered them in the past and get round it that way

Just to let you know, I have returned bargain packs in the past, and I have also returned these boys & girls ones, and I have not had any problems. I know that the large bargain pack that is often advertised in HT for £50, says that you cannot return it if it is opened, but the boys and girls ones ones didn't say anything about not returning them. I know the ones available for customers just says that they have to return the whole pack. But I think that Avon makes the rules up as they go along lol!
  • Posted earlier about a customer wanting a BeBronze facial tanning cream..... Avon have now confirmed that this is a discontinued product. Believe one of the C18 bargain bags (possibly the make-up one?) may have included some sort of bronzing moisturiser but not sure. Anyone know?

  • Thanks Pugsley I was going to return them anyway as I couldn't see anywhere that it said I couldn't. Going to keep the boys one as customer ordered the TT book that was out of stock but was happy to take the one out of the bargain bag. I will sell Thomas bubbles thing at Xmas fair and the Dr WHo keyring keep the secret writer for stocking filler.
Not even going to cheapen my stall with the rubbish stuff in the girls bags.
Anyone had the bumper box thing at £30 before are they good value.
Not bothered much with the 30 days deals things . Got the black Antler bag one with the teal mascara, faux pearl , conditioner and trial size moisturiser for £20. Customer had ordered the pink one for weekend away so I showed her both and she picked the black one as it was bigger. Sold at same price £25. had an order for mascara anyway so sold that for £5. Returned the faux pearl as someone had ordered a few a month ago and keeping the other two for customers who have given me orders since I started.
Oh did order one or two of the Ella hats other than that nothing much.
I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!
  • I've only ordered the Storm handbag set from the 30 deals/day thingy. Im keeping one and one will be a thank you gift to my sis for all the orders she has got for me so far this campaign
  • Quick question - I want to buy my cousin a gift as she has got me over £250 worth of orders this campaign but dont know what to get her. Have already brought her a bottle of perfume previously but also dont want to spend a fortune (really skint and need all the money I can get). Any ideas???
