Ryanair Cancelled Flights

Just had an email cancelling my flight from Edinburgh to Berlin on the 24th Sept, not best pleased  Now have to cancel my Hotel booking.
Here is their reason
"Ryanair sincerely regrets that due to a strike by Boeing staff (our aircraft manufacturer), it has been necessary to cancel some flights departing between the 23/09/2008 to the 04/11/2008. Please see below for details of your flight(s) which has been cancelled."
I was really looking forward to that trip

Sorry to hear that - do you need to ask a question, or did you just fancy telling us?Gone ... or have I?0

Letting people know who may be travelling between those dates that they may receive an email cancelling their flight. There could be quite a lot of cancellations throughout the country, especially on the new routes that were due to start at the end of September.0

That is quite a big statement to make without having facts to back it up - it could be 'quite a lot' of flights affected, or it could be one or two a day (or perhaps not even that). Possibly better not to scaremonger before quantifying your information.
I have flights booked to MAD and RAK for October, and we have fifteen flights booked to Knock between the dates in question. I have not had any cancellation emails yet.Gone ... or have I?0 -
Not scaremongering, now had second email cancelling flight to Billund between those dates flying from Edinburgh. These are new flights starting this month from Edinburgh which Ryanair are expanding their routes from. Probably only new destinations are being cancelled by lack of new airplanes due to Boeing strike.
May only be Edinburgh new destination flights that are suffering. Old routes are safe.0 -

How do you know that old routes are safe, or are you just making assumptions again?
Edit: Last sentence of OP's added whilst quoting  .Gone ... or have I?0 -

It's better explained on the Ryanair website under NEWS. The suffering is restricted to Edinburgh and it's paired airports. The Boeing strike has delayed delivery of two new jets hence the problems.0 -
Oops, doesn't affect my own 1p flights to Bournemouth as they are in December but I have booked someone else for September and having been looking for a flight to Krakow myself.0
