Hi everyone,
our house has been on the market for 3 wks with 2 viewings within 2 days of being on rightmove.
then nothing, our house is priced £210K it was valued at £225 in august but we thought we would put it on lower to get a offer....
there are about 6 houses in the same area that are 4 bed semi's all priced over £219K and some need a lot of work doing.
and houses are still selling in our area.
what can we do to get people through the door, i was thinking of offering to pay the stamp duty, do you think it would help
many thanks

It may be something to do with the company you are using. I appreciate they get you on rightmove, but selling houses goes far beyond this, especially in the current market. You may find the fee saving, turns out to be a false economy.0

Ask your EA how they can get more viewings.0

Not really, for your sale it can be no more than a gimmick. You will be seeing 2nd time buyers who will have some equity [the second time buyers without equity will stay where they are]. So anyone who has equity would end up paying stamp duty on stamp duty.
The only value of the gimmick is to indicate that you might negotiateAfter the uprising of the 17th June The Secretary of the Writers Union
