With the lovely weather this weekend the work on the garden went well with another terrace being 'almost' leveled. (covered in bites thou)I've now got more planting area than I thought I would so I think the idea of growing a selection of veg is possible  good times
Saw the film 'Taken' at the cinemas (using cinecard) :T and enjoyed it throughly. OH informed me that he taught that guy everything he knows and is currentlt going round doing karate moves
My good friend (:A that she is) came round Sunday and helped me frame 4 pictures. Got two/three more that I want to do and have to price up.
We are currently learnign the Tango and Rumba at dance which seem to be going well, we did have a disagreement about the turns in the Tango but i was rightand won in the end. (we had to turn left instead of right) While we know the steps of the Quick-step our teacher is trying to get us to do the rise and fall bit now - who would have guessed its so hard?
Felt like i achived what I wanted this weekend, even managed to tidy the house a bit! ("Gosh" I hear you say)
Had a free lunch today so feel like all is right with the worldCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Sounds like you've been a busy bee! I wish I had a garden - I would love to get some veg growing...perhaps I should get an allotment...?
You seem to have been more constructive than me...lots of eating and drinking for me last weekend!!!

you could grow some tomatoes on the window sill, and herbs.

Unfortunately I'm on the ground floor, near quite a busy road/path and I don't have any window sills!! It's a shame really, as I fancy myself as a bit of a veg grower (can't do house plants...so thought I might have more luck outside!).MBNA - [STRIKE]£7068.60 [/STRIKE] £7060.00 Egg - 1422.35 A&L - [STRIKE]£249.32[/STRIKE] £215.00Loan - £13279.50 :rolleyes:0

I learned a bit of Salsa with a friend a few years ago and really enjoyed it, unfortunately I'm not the most graceful of people but that suited me well.0

shopgirl, why don't you put your name down for an allotment? They're not normally expensive at all. I've got my name down for the ones near me - there's a 3 year waiting list thou
I agree that salsa is great fun evab, don't think anyone would call me graceful either:p
I received my £5 voucher for M&S from Direct Line yesterday, think it will go towards a Xmas pressie for either OH or work.
Am currently eating crossaints - free at work of course - so good for my pocket but bad for my waistline :rolleyes:Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

wow...you've been busy!!!:D
really sorry to hear about your lack of security at work...it's a horrible feeling with all the uncertainty...hopefully things will work out okay...i'll keep my fingers crossed for you...
i would try some veggie stuff in the garden...i have two raised beds and because of the hounds had to abandon most of the planting this spring..then in about june decided just to chuck a few seeds in to see if anything would come up....ended up with LOADS of beans, some beetroot, fennel, carrots, salad leaves and despite being massacred by catepillars my broccoli plants are also doing quite well!! i must admit, there are areas in my garden that i am convinced that things will never grow in but they still seem to work...always worth a try!!:D
keep up the good work...and i'll try to do the same!!:rotfl:0
