Thank you everyone for your kind words and my hug smf2

    Smiley-Crying.gif - exactly!

We've given MBNA 14 days to get back to us bout claiming the money and then I start calling.....
Have you grown any rotten tomatoes to throw at the furniture people
I'm growing them as quickly as I can! But its going to be a while, they're only an inch high!
It makes me mad companies can do that and then you end up getting done over by them:mad:
It's the fact that they get away with it and there's nothing really that you can do. I'm much rather throw my new axe at them :D not that I have violent tendancies at all!
    Are you on FB
I'm assuming this stands for FaceBook :o no I'm not on there - am refusing point blank after several friends have fallen out from knowing too much from reading FB enteries.
don't know about you but i hate having to choose stuff, so having to go through that process again would anger me as much as the money....
Totally! Me and DH couldn't even choose wallpaper for the living room so its still just white after 3 years! Smiley-Crying.gif Might have to take the pretty picture of our, sob, furniture to a cabinet maker and see how much it'll cost.....if we have any money......

Thanks for subscribing starting :) I hope you haven't read the whole thing - you'll go blind!

I was thinking more leeches rather than wombats....there's that fish in the amozan that 'inserts' itself into tender areas isn't there? I'm sure they must be available from ebay....
come to the conclusion that a lot of people on this board may be slightly unhinged!!!!:rotfl:

    Us, unhinged????

Nah! We're well normal round here - it's everyone else you gotta be worried about!

:shhh: Do you think we fooled them?

Hasn't time gone quick!?! It's June already and my friend gets married next weekend :D I'm hoping to be able to borrow (and fit in) a dress from my Mum.

Had an ok weekend with a lazy Saturday, saw the Losers which was great. Went out clubbing in Chelt Sunday which was good but expensive almost £7 per drink! (DH was out in Swindon at £1.20 a drink:cool:) Our group was too large and so we kept losing each other, then Holiday Inn messed up our rooms . Monday was spent recovering till 5pm when the-in-laws came round for a BBQ and I made googy choc pud and bread for the week.

Mocked up the spreadsheets for June and paid the dad-debt £200. If we're good there should be another £200 left to pay him at end of this month.

    No news from MBNA :(

Good lucj with the credit card claim, I', sure you will be fine, but I expect they will put up a little fight as they won't want to just roll over and pay up like they should. But with all Martins advice i'm sure you can so it!!:money:

    Hi there Smlsave
I've borrowed dresses from my Mum in the past for weddings - luckily she's the same size (or at least, I used to be). If it's one of her posh ones, I've also been know to borrow the hats which goes with them...

ohhhh, I love hats QB :) but they do flatten your hair don't they!?! I'm going to get mine styled by my friends hairdresser, sure it'll cost more than DIY but she's goign to do my hair when I'm bridesmaid so I thought I'd like to see what she's like.

I think it was called Kopa or something like that - was very happy that I came home with money in my pocket and that because the drinks were so pricey - no hangover!

Quidco payment came through of £8.29 so that's gone flying off to the Dad Debt

Managed swimming twice this week and lost 1lb :)

Its the weeend in just under 2 hours! :T

Off for a drinky-poo tonight with mum and friends

I'm hoping for a quiet weekend with lots of gardening and maybe a film with the girls :) I have been invited out partying but have yet to make up my mind.

 No news from MBNA so I'll have to chase them Monday.

Lol, yes they do! I keep mine on for as long as possible when I wear one, due to all the pins that are keeping my hair up underneath. The hat only gets taken off in the privacy of the ladies, where I can de-hedgehog and fluff up!

Sorry you're having gyp with MBNA - hang on in there. From what you've written, I suspect that persistence and tenacity will win the day...
