So my options are either
1. Rent tent and live in the local park using the duck pond as a big bath
2. Live with boyfriend (wearing dark glasses to avoid looking at his mess and never open any cupboards after he has tidied)
Damm this love thing, it will have to be option 2 :rotfl:Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

Just popping in to say that its all quiet on the money saving front here as we're currently claiming with the credit card company to get our plus £1700 back from the furniture company we ordered from in January. Not happy at all
Am trying to stay optomistic which isn't easy with DH beating himself up about it.
The new forum look is very funky thouand almost the green that reminds me of bank notes
The weekend however was gorgeous and the garden looks fantastic.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

no
We've been without bedroom funiture since January! The company kept delaying our orders again and again and then last week said they've gone into adminsitration. (we kept waiting as it was the furniture we wanted) DH is furious as they lied to us when they knew the company was going under and also as £1000 of it is his parents money (a present) and he kept saying 'lets wait a little longer....after all its the furniture we want'
Oh well.....
On an up note the potatos, carrots, radish, lettuce, tomatoes, peas, beans, sweetcorn, courgettes, beatroot, and even parsnip are growing!I love home grown veg

That is pants about the furniture. We nearly had that with a bed we bought, but only just got it delivered before they went into administration, and then also narrowly missed out on the MFI fiasco when they were doing our fitted bedroom furniture while i was pregnant with DS2. So rubbish when they are stringing you along. I really hope you hear something from the CC company soon so you can get some other stuff organised.:(0

Smlsave,
Thats rubbish about the furniture. I know its not very MSE thing to do but did you pay for it on a CC, if you did it should be insured and you can get your moneyback from them. If not good luck getting it back from the company, they are rubbish for messing you around for so long. It makes me mad companies can do that and then you end up getting done over by them:mad:Mortgage @ 01.06.10 £165,999Mortgage @ 31.10.13 £14,6640 -
Oh no smlsave, thats awful, such a lot of money. I am amazed that they are allowed to do that these days. Are you on FB, is Martin on it. Maybe you can add to his reuqest for what you want him to discuss on his BBC show. and talk about losing money to badly lead businesses!MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

So sorry about your furniture...that is just a nightmare..:eek::eek: don't know about you but i hate having to choose stuff, so having to go through that process again would anger me as much as the money.... hope it all works out for you...its such a disappointment for you..:(
Subscribed to diary now....looking forward to keeping up with your diary and hearing about the scourge of 1000 wombats consuming unscrupulous furniture dealers.....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Debt Repayment May 100/3500 June 559/3400 July 0/2841
