GG!!! :naughty: I can't believe you looked  tut tut

    :rotfl:

Good news - our house was valued at £125000 by Natwest :) This is what we bought it for in 2007 which I think is ok and I'm glad we did all the work to the house. However, to get an 80% mortgage we need to find another £2900 from somewhere  here's hoping Dad will let us borrow some more.

I very happy that the garden is all 'sprouty' and growing well :) My raspberries have baby flower buds :j

Unfortunatly this is all marred with me working myself into a strop. I'm over reacting but can't stop myself :( I booked the spa and hotel for the hen weekend in July and forwarded the details to the other bridesmaid. She responded by saying that she feels left out and like I'm taking over. I admit that while I'd got her ok to book the spa I hadn't to book the hotel (although we had both decided on that one). I shouldn't have booked the hotel without checking with her first :o but I'm working myself up as I'm thinking that we agreed what we were doing and where we were going and so is how me booking it leaving her out? She'd the one who is never available to discuss the hen party, doesn't answer my emails or her phone. I know she's busy and I know I'm over reacting but how do I calm down enough to talk to her sensibly when I can't even get in contact with her!

    phew, rant over - sorry

I would try and just forget it (says me who can stew abou things for days), if you have emailed her and phoned her, then you have done all that you can.

    Thanks smf2 and radish :)

I'm like you Radish and am still stewing but I keep reminding myself that she's probably stewing too and feels just as hard done by........I almost convince myself and then I start getting all self-rightous again. I will be calm and cool and collected....yoga-yoga-exercise-mental-smiley-emoticon-000680-medium.gif

We have arranged to met up on Sunday to have a chat and I'm hoping to book the train tickets then. Here's hoping she turns up. (the train tickets went up £4 in two days! I'm not looking anymore till Sunday)

Re Mortgage: Dad has kindly agreed to lend us the £2900 which means that we'll owe him .......... £6694.77!!!!!!!!!!!

    *faint*

But I'm choosing to think of £1900 as a mortgage overpayment ;)

DH has got a fair bit of overtime till June amounting to some £900, he wants to buy himself a ps3 out of it and then the rest can go towards the debt.

And that's how I'm going to think of it, as the debt, so I don't get lazy.

  • I think it's time u took sine of your own advice. Enjoy the bank holiday and try not to get worked up. These things have to be organised and if you couldn't get in contact with her it's just one of those things. As long as u tried.

Well done on the 80% ltv, fingers crossed with some serious overpayments we can get there to!!

Well I had a truly relaxing bank holiday :D Did an Indian Head Massage day which was great, spent time with my friends and did a BBQ (didn't have a hangover either!)

Had a chat with other bridesmaid and we're ok, she's going to more availble to get hold off and I've booked the big stuff and can relax :)

Quidco paid me £22 odd so that's gone towards the Dad. The mortgage offer has been issued - finally.

 We've got cider brewing in the kitchen  and have booked a weekend away with the daily mail offer at £15 pp!

The kitchen is full of food and the garden is growing so I'm hoping to come under the grocery budget this month.
