    Thanks smf2 :D

Had a lovely weekend (apart from one argument with DH) with the shed being emptied, wood choped, garden planted, tent bought-put up-taken down and finally got round to seeign how to train your dragon which I loved!

    I want a dragon .........

I manged to stop myself from buying a £40 coat and instead bought myself some pretty shoes for £25 using a £20 voucher which was supposed to be Nan's present :othey are very very very very very pretty

DH wants to op/pay debt with our savings of £100 a month but after a chat we've agreed to keep it in an easy access account just in case, when it goes over £1000 we'll op/pay debt the extra. Be a while till it does that as we spent £350 of the tent this weekend! (it's huuge)

It was only £40. Should be dead easy for him to put up as it's a pop up. Also got him a couple of cheap camping mats

I hate being nice to people at work as well, when they are being horrible. It one of the things that I need to develope as part of my coaching sessions with manager.

Hooray for tent - is it available to rent when not in use. Can you timeshare tents? (I'm patenting this idea if its a good one)

I used to be quite good at dealing with nasty clients as I had to deal with them almost every week in my old job. Now I've had a couple of years with generally good clients I've lost the knack of coping.

It's strange how lots of clients will speak to me like I'm dirt as I'm a secretary and must therefore obviously know nothing - but when they talk direct with one of the solicitors they start dripping with honey!

    bah

I like the timeshare tent idea Radish! How does £20 a week sound?

I'd only need to let it out for 17 weeks and then tent will have paid for itself!

Not so well me thinks :o far too much enjoying ourselves!

May isn't even half way through and we've only got £40 left of the grocery budget (read alchol budget at the mo as DH wants a 'party' on Saturday)

I wonder if I can keep us in budget this month?

I was thinking that if I got some fridge magnets I could spell out what there is and have a minder evrytime we open the fridge door - what you think?

I think (and its only a hunch) that you will just spell out rude words/suggestions with the fridge letter magnets

    Pause.....

Just adding fridge letter magnets to the shopping list

Does the £20 rent include water/electricity or just the tent. Hope you realise that this tent renting involves me living in your garden when I've sold my house
