Pay day :j:j:j
and my account doesn't look as bad as I thought it would
I know I should put the extra £13 into the OP fund but I'm going to put it towards the bone cracker appointment.
It looks doubtful that they'll be m/any funds going to the OP fund this month and December's always tricky cause of the :EasterBunand of course the :beer:Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Hope your back gets sorted, £40 is expensive mine was only £25 per session. I haven't been for a while, should make an appointment to make sure all is well still and still have 3 sessions already paid for!0

I'm off to research mortgages and will post back laterCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

So I’ve been playing with the mortgage calculators today. Our fixed rate of 5.44% ends in March and turns into 4.24%SVR which is pretty poor considering. We’ll owe circa £102600 which is after our OP of £4000.The best mortgage atm that we could get is a fixed rate for 1year at 6.89%
So atm I'm thinking that we'll stick with the SVR and op as much as possible while keeping an eye on the mortgage deals.
I like the idea of getting a 80% fixed rate mortgage and a 20% variable rate mortgage on the property so that we could op lots and yet still the fixed safety net. I'd definitely want to talk about this to an IFA next year is DH is on board and its not too difficult.
Whata you think?Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Thanks SMF2
I had a good weekend with the bathroom being re-sealed, bedroom furniture shopping (just window shopping!), dancing lessons and I lost 1.5lbs which no doubt got put on as I ate a huge pizza!
We've overspent by approx £90 this monthwhich is mainly due to DIY stuff and private dancing lessons. Oh well.
Normally I'd just say that we have to be extra careful next month and while that's true December is a hard time to cut down on spending! Damage control seems more apt :rolleyes2
I've got the Xmas boxes down from the loft and am going to sort them out tonight. :xmastree: We have enough in savings to pay for the Xmas pressies (about £400) and I'm looking forward to wrapping the presents! :j
I'm umming and ahhing about going swiming tonight  what to do, what to do...Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Awhhh, shucks.....I've just caught up with your thread - you can't say you're not motivated:eek:
I didn't go swimming - thanks for trying pawlala - but I'm hoping to tonight. I'll definitely go if my Mum goes or we're not going to see a film tonight.
I'm on a DIY mission at the moDH has said that he doesn't want to go on a summer holiday as he'd rather get the house decorated. Which, I admit, makes sense.....
BUT I WANTA HOLIDAY!
So this means that I've got to do as much DIY as humanly possible and save extra for a holiday on top of everything else.
What have I talked myself into? I've started writing a list aka: action plan!Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
