I bought my third Xmas pressie today :xmassmile I feel like I'm getting all organised. In total I've bought £32 worth of pressies and only spent £4 real money - the rest being vouchers
Very annoyed at Tonula though  tried to use a £10 from them and it wouldn't work. I've emailed them and here's hoping they'll send me another one, it was a voucher was May but with no expiry date on it so I assumed it would be ok - here's hoping.
It's not even two weeks till November and four weeks to load up the Asda Xmas card! While the grocery budget this month looks great at £65 the cupboards are indeed bare and we'll have to do a fairly large shop soon. Dear old Quidco are doing 1% on all grocey shopping at Asda :j so i'll be doing my large shops online through Quidco and on my cashback cc from now on.
Glad to say its been a NSD and I'm round my friends for dinnerCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Well done on the Christmas shopping, so far all I have is a mental list of ideas for people!
Speaking of which... what kind of art do you do? OH wants some art for our house for Christmas but I haven't a clue!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
It's FRIDAY :T:beer::T and I'm off to Wales in 1hr 30mins for an October Fest weekend
I'm really looking forward to it, just hoping I've packed everything!
I just love this piggy! :heartsmil
Hi MRNI've even written my Xmas list and I have to say that it has definitely shrank from a couple of years ago. I guess its cause I have a close-knit group of friends and the ones we see once-in-while no longer make it on the list!
feel a bit bad saying that now.
I've been doing acrylic 'pretty' work lately and a lot of abstracty flowers.I really like doing detailed pencil drawings, but they're not the sort of things people buy unless its a commission - and I'm too flakey to do them :rotfl:
Do you know what sort of art your OH likes? or maybe he wants something to fit with the room?Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Well Wales was good fun  and I didn't have too bad a hangover either
It was a very MS weekend as well with us only having to pay for food and drink.
As we've had a fair few busy weekend, this one going to be no exception, we've missed our dancing lessons and so are taking private ones. Twice the price but we should polish up our act.
I've done my first ever online grocery shop todaythrough quidco and using a cashback cc of course. Couldn't get any voucher codes to work though but never mind. As it's my first time
I'm all excited to see what the quality's like
Only three days till November and the joint account is crying out for itNo chance of any money making it to the OP fund this month.

A sleepy SmlSave reporting in
We had a very hetic weekend with two parties and one birthday meal which put us circa £28 over budget  all good fun though and this month is looking much quieter.
I picked up my £30 for the painting I sold and got given some (possible) good news - another one of my paintings may have sold! Only maybe at the mo as the lady hasn't paid for it yet but my fingers are crossed.
The extra £30 has gone into my savings and await to see if they shall be spent on clothes or put towards the OP saving fund.
The grocery delivery arrived and all in good conditionI only bought what was needed to stick to the meal plan I created so we'll see how well I stick to a plan.
But there's still pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup, roast pumpkin and left over pumpkin to eat! :rotfl:nomnomnomCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Great to hear you've been living it up
Well done on the sales, but, please no mention of pumpkin(our pumpkin was stolen during the evening on Saturday but at least we didn't have to drop it in the recycling - couldn't have it inside with the tea light it in due to the smell!).
"Pumpkins, whoa, what are they good for? Absolutely nothing....." :rotfl:
(No I will not do that on mic!)0 -
