So I was totally over-reacting yesterday :o not paying attention and jumping to conclusions - I'm a stroppy so and so and I'm sorry.

Tried out my slowcooker for the first time last night with onion soup and it smelled lovely :D can't wait to eat it later.

We're off to the cinema tonight and I plan to take water and sneak in some mints so a NSD today :) And I popped into the libary and picked up a MS book to read :A

There's enough money in the joint account to put £50 in OP savings and pay off the cc :)

OH has enought to pay off the cc :)

I'm going to check that I have enough to pay off the cc

BUT FIRST I must go swimming I must go swimming I must go swimming

Ta Stu :) coming from you that's a real compliment

I'm please to say that the joint account came £47.16 under budget and £40 of which shall be going into the OP fund :T

I bought some new trainers taka (£25) and after wearing them yesterday my poor feet are not happy. I hate wearing shoes in!

Its 12 weeks to Xmas tomorrow :xmassmile and I've decided to set myself a challegne of 12lb in 12 weeks. Then, of course, I can put it all back on for New Year :rotfl:

As I've mentioned before my friend is getting married next year, prob Sept, and so I'll be needing funds. I'm going to set up a standing order of £20 a month to an account so I should be covered.

Also there's a fair bit happening in the coming months: -

    1. Oktoberfest. We're off to Wales, yes Wales :rotfl:, to stay in a cottage and go to our friend's aunts pub to celebrate

    2. Good Food Show  my tickets paid for as a pressie but I doubt its possible to go and not spend.

    3. Clothes Show. I figure the tickets going to cost £30 and again I'll want to have spending money.

    4. Basement Jax. :j Tickets paid for, going to buy their alblum before going and apparently the venue are strict about taking in your own drinks :(

    5. 2x Xmas parties.

    Gosh

Oh, :doh:I didn't say how I'm hoping to pay for that all!

If I stick to my budget I should have £50 spare a month, maybe more if I'm really really good and this has to cover all my trips

Thanks MRN :) I know I'll have a great time, especially if I know I can afford them.

Well the weekend is looming :j and after swimming tonight we're off to the cinema again. (yes gg, I will be smuggling water in again :rotfl:)

With an art exhibition in the next couple of weeks I've got to frame 4 pieces to enter so it won't be a cheap weekend. But then if I sell a piece it'll be worth it :shhh: (I'm pretending its a crossed fingers smiley)

Otherwise than framing and a meal round a friends it shoudl be a quiet weekend. It'll be DH's first Saturday working from home and he first week working away next week, my first week alone in the house too:eek:

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Thanks gg and smf2 :)

I spent £15 on framing stuff and £10 on lunch :o I really shouldn't have as there was lunch waiting at home but hey ho!

I used my slow cooker for the 2nd time yesterday and think I'm in love :D did gammon hock and its was delish, just falling off the bone. One thing good about the weather getting colder is that I can start making loads of stew.

    And I lost 3.5lbs last week :j
