The first item we got with TopCashBack was a new TV stand from Home Cinema UK (recollection was about 10% and free p&p).

Yes you need one to protect TV from knocks etc of course ;)

Oh go on.....but that is it - really no more:naughty:.....what do you mean you want new trainers :D

    Morning

Thanks for the advice PP, I shall have a wander into the shop this lunch time. Got a little but of stubble but I'm sure my impressive bruises will distract them :D

Well I tried on some very comfy anti-trainers at...£150:eek: Online they go down to bout £100 which is obviously a bargin :rotfl: Suddenly £40 for a pair doesn't seem so bad...

DH rang up extremly annoyed. The TV people PRCdirect couldn't process our payment as our card isn't registered to where we want it delivered  but couldn't be bothered to let us know  He's therefore cancelled his order, posted an horrendos review on them and we're going to reorder from good old Amozan tonight at £50 more. Nothings ever easy is it:rolleyes:

I haven't touched any money in the account :) but we're off to the cinema tonight and its at exactly the wrong time :( so hotdogs here we come...

New TV has been ordered. Through nectar e-stores and with a cashback cc of course :rotfl:

Had to explain to DH that I've never bought trainers before :o as my last pair were bought by my mum when I was 16! He did offer to come with me but also advised that they're all unisex really so just pick a pair I like. Will be brave and have a look tomorrow.

The film was great last night (meatballs :D) and the food was bought from the joint account so mine is still looking good :) Plus I managed to go swimming straight after work so I'm feeling :A

The joinnt account looks good too :T and while there probably won't be any money going into the OP pot this month  the cc will be cleared and we'll be back on a level setting (fingers crossed)

Well each to their own; best wishes to get a match with the other furniture. That's why we opted for glass and black tubulars etc as it then still gives flexibility for the furniture (presently we have some yewtree tables / cabinet with teak on the leather sofas, but, we need to replace the lot (15yrs old now) once MF likely to stay with leather for seating as it is so hard wearing, but likely will opt for a darker wood).

    :rotfl:I'm 25 now! :rotfl:

I'm umming and ahhing about surviving with the poor trainers I have  and maybe going shopping in the Jan sales. Its a thought.

I'm also having thoughts about not going swimming tonight and maybe just getting home and drinking the cider DH bought. But then I'd probably be tipsy before even getting to the party tonight! (being fed there)

I like the sound of that Stuart :) I'm hoping to go for dark woods in the bedroom but it all hinges on the bed frame we can agree on

Action plan for this weekend is to go swimming (if not too hungover), look at knife blocks (wedding pressie) buy a new telephone with vouchers and try the slow cooker out. And on Sunday we're going to GoApe and dancing in the evening! phew!

SmlSave - I would get trainers now if you are using them for the gym, especially if you're using the treadmill etc. A spend on a new pair may well prevent an painful injury if your trainers are really that old and no longer supportive!
