Wedding planning is coming along well then SmlSave! My boss and his fiancee are planning theirs at the moment so I have weddings coming at me from all angles, as it were!
I really admire people who can keep spending diaries - I've often thought about it but am pretty sure I'd not manage to do it - I have enough troubles keeping the inventory of my freezer contents up to date!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hello and thank you SparkleBlack, what a cool name - does it stand for something in particular?I'm pretty sure that calla lillies are in season in the summer but are generally more expensive than other flowers you can get - but I've got my heart set on them :smileyhea0

I'm sure nobody will be surprised to hear that I keep a spending diary/ spreadsheet and have done for 6 years in May - LOL. It's definitely worth it, as over time you can see exactly where your money is going. Also you can start to try to beat what you've spent in the past.
Also there is no hiding from what you buy as you have to confess all to the spread sheet!

TUT TUT
I know, I know
I've brought lunch in with me again with lots of fruit so it should hopefully be a NSD with a five a day as well...does cider count as a portion of fruit? I'm off to the pub tonight after swimming (which will then be my second gym visit this week :j)
A handful of loose change went into the whisky bottle last night, I'm very tempted to count it but will try to wait as long as I can!Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
Phase 1 - Emergency Fund - Complete :j
Phase 2 - £20,000 Mortgage Fund - Underway0 -

Hope everyone had a good weekend!
Unfortunatly I was drinking the processed cider StuartI went into Sainsbury's and got a bottle of every different cider I could find, even the cloudy one I found had too much sugar!
I trust this was an empty bottle, or if not, it was simply a blend not a single malt, otherwise I'll have to arrange retribution!
A blend and empty tooI like single malts but OH mixes them all with lemonade
so I've given up and only buy blends now
Spends
£12 alcohol
£12 dancing
£2 breakfast - I woke up very late today and ran into work with no breakfast or lunch, got my free meal deal from Boots from all my spending last week!
Good News! :T We've preliminlary booked our venue and the registrars for the 7th August 2009! Yay!
We also found the fabric we want for the waistcoats and MIL is 'making' roll-ends so we can get them cheap.
A productive weekend for us - we also put up two shelves that have been waiting for ages :rolleyes:Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
Phase 1 - Emergency Fund - Complete :j
Phase 2 - £20,000 Mortgage Fund - Underway0 -

I brought lunch in today but spent £7 on some nice jewelry for the wedding
Also forgot that I spent £10 on a ww cookery book on Saturday
I got OH to agree to open an ISA after the wedding for saving towards over-paying the mortgage :j He's worried that when we come to remortgage next year the bank won't lend us as much as we need because of the house prices falling.
It means that double glazing is delayed again thouCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
