Well it wasn’t a very MS weekend.

We went off to Ikea to order our £300 sofa and left with an order for a £680 sofa bed. I don’t feel too bad about it as it will certainly get used and will save us time/stress when people come to stay over – it just wasn’t budgeted for.

Our christmas tree lives outside in a pot all year and comes in about two weeks before christmas

I'd love to do this EssexH, think I will see how much a potted tree will cost I have been advised to check the roots as apparently some 'people' cut the tap root to kill the tree when potting it up. t'd be nice to know I have a tree every year thou.

Got my fourth money neutral present this weekend with a £5 voucher from Lightspeed – happy, happy and OH was amazed that you could get a voucher for doing surveys. :p

Pamperchef party tomorrow, so hopefully it goes well and I get my muffin dish at a discounted rate.

Tidied up my spreadsheet last night and I’m all excited to put in December so that I can work out a realistic budget for next year. :D I realised from reading back on my thread that I spend a lot of time trying to get organised, so that’s going to be my New Year’s resolution – be organised.

    To Do This Week:

    Buy Ingredients for Pamperchef
    Tidy House
    Go to Xmas Meal
    Get Xmas stuff from Loft.
    Write Xmas cards
    Try on Wedding Dresses
    Get some more Presents
    Get Xmas Tree
    Wrap Presents
    Plant rest of Bulbs
    Go to House Party
    Tidy House again
    Write Shopping List

Ta Da! Lets see how I get on with this lot :j

I think this is the key to getting "more" once you have done some of the early hits with the financial review, but, it does take time....

So, what will you do from Thursday onwards then???? :p
You forgot to list "collating data for spreadsheet" but most importantly, a time-out slot too!

    Enjoy

    Quiet week then .

My task for the week is just to write a list, never mind actually achieve anything on it :o

Good luck with achieving it :T

I bet you’re to do list is bigger than mine evab!

So, what will you do from Thursday onwards then????

I would say thank you for having faith in me…..:rotfl: but I know you’re joking :rotfl:

Surely the Xmas Meal and House Party count as time out Stuart?

My task for the week is just to write a list, never mind actually achieve anything on it

That is what I normally do gallygirl – if I can cross off a third of the list I will be very happy.

I hope the party goes well tonight, work has been stressful (more than usual) this week and an enjoyable evening would make the two next days more bearable.

My thoughts also go to my poor brother  who has had a run of bad luck lately…. (((hugs))) to you! I have to say it here cause he wouldn’t let me say it to his self

I am trying to catch up with everyone’s threads but admit I am a bit hit and miss lately  - hope everyone is ok and doing well

Well the Pamperchef party went well and I got the one thing I wanted, a muffin pan, for free! :D However the house is now a mess again so it needs tidying all over again!

I now have enough pasta for two dinners and prawn cocktail for lunch and dinner one night! Oh and the half choc cake and third cheesecake - I made too much as usual

I thought for a moment I would have a NSD today but it went out the window when I bought a gift bag £1 and decorations £1 from, guess where...£land! Its also the Xmas meal tonight which I have already paid for and I'm hoping wine is provided for as last year so that I don't have to spend too much more! :p

I've decided I'm going to join the £4000 year challagne next year but go for £6000, thanks taka for inspiring (sp) me! :T
