Turns out I was worrying for no reason :T the card is paid off in full and didn't need to be till the 20th! I'm glad I worried thou, last time I messed up it cost me £15  and I'm determined not to make the same mistake again.

Dear OH peeled and chopped all the onions in the house last night for onion soup - its nice to know all I have to do is make it up. Normally I wear my swimming googles to cut up lots of onions! :rotfl:

Main aim for today to to do as much as the scrapbook as possible and tidy up the house ready for a big clean before we go. Wish me luck!

P.S. Have decided to change my spending money today as there seems to be no hope for the pound

We had red onion and goats cheese tart, swimming googles would have been very useful!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Keep a few greenbacks upon return then in a few months they could be worth more £....

Long-term predictions are pointing to £1 to US$1.60
but I'm not taking any bets ;)

I didn't think of that, thanks Stu

I'm a very lucky girl as my family have found dollars hiding in drawers and donated them to my spending fund :j I've offered to give them the equivalent in £'s back but all they want is for me to bring back a nice Xmas ornament  I hope I find a nice one.

I will see you all in just over a week

Well I'm back all safe and sound!

NY was good fun and the weather was great. I didn't end up spending too much either :D

The windows are going to have to go on hold - cause I'm getting married :T

Does anybody know how much these things cost?:p :o:p

I'm off to do some researching....

they say the average wedding was approx £17,000 - I got married 3yrs ago and had a reasonable biggish wedding and we spent about £10,500 but you can do it on a smaller budget. There are easy ways to reduce your spend such as making your own favours etc, someone to do your flowers etc. Congratulations.
