Now I knew someone here had a son called Dexter but for the life of me couldn't remember who, I take it you didn't watch the series 'Dexter' then?
Isn't he a 'nice' serial killer though?;) He wasn't named after him BTW, I always liked the name after watching Dexter Fletcher in Press Gang when I was a girl.:)
If he was a girl he was going to be called Meredith, who is the main character off Grays Anatomy. You'd think we did nothing but watch sky!Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -
Been to the Doc's today, bit of a waste of time as they just took some details and gave me some leaflets. Apparently I am eligible for freebies though
Got an appointment with the midwife in two weeks and should get a letter in the post about the scan apparently.
Have told work that I'm having tummy problems to explain the need for the Doc appointments. (don't want to start letting people know till I've had my first scan, just in case) It's true in any case as I'm very uncomfortable and am trying to be wheat free to see if it helps.
DH is away most this weekend so its up to me to clean the house....:cool:Isn't he a 'nice' serial killer though?Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Smsave - na wind and bloating just normal, doubt wheat free with help TBH and in my experience you need jacobs cream crackers to get out of bed in a few week. TBH but you will probably find your bowels will swing from one extreme to another but you can get stuff from the chemist. HM lentil/veg soups are a good MSE way to go. remember you get free perscriptions when pregnant so your exemption cert should be through soon.
I fnd Dexter a bit disturbing TBH. always on the look out for a nice girls name if anyone has any ideasMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

No its up to you, to sit on the sofa all weekend minding his precious cargo. I'm pretty sure babies don't like mummys doing housework :cool:Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

It's a grey, damp day here
Am hoping to go to see some fireworks tonight (£5 entry) but we'll have to see what the weather's like nearer the time.
I'm budgeting £250 for Xmas gifts this year, that's for 17 people. Personally I'm budgeting £50-£100 for DH's gifts.
This month is going to be pretty expensive I think. £40 to spend on birthdays, £30 to spend on parents anniversary and DH's work do. Also, as I didn't pay of the cc till this month my grocery spends for Oct is ridiculous being £10 so Nov will bear the brunt. Also have to top up Asda card with £144 (might do 2) - ow.
Oh, what am I saying........Dec is never cheap, even when there's savings to cope with it and we have to pay the holiday off on the 6th Dec!na wind and bloating just normalNo its up to you, to sit on the sofa all weekend minding his precious cargo. How did I manage to miss this news!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! :j:j:j:j:jssUCH GREAT news, am weirdly jealous!!
Bit late to join in the conversation now I know but I bought a super cheap test, got a positive then went out and bought 4 expensive ones :rotfl:You are far from alone
Don't worry about feeling lousy, in many ways the first trimester is the most difficult. Tiring in a way you didn't know was even possible but no one knows so expects you to still be your usual efficient and busy self
Take really good care of yourself:D:D

I thought I was going to be stuck and not be able to outsmart your OH
But then I got it
You have to relax on the sofa so baby can see him doing the housework, otherwise if you are doing it it will only be able to see a small part of what is happening, not the whole picture :TMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0
