Hope everyone had a good Halloween weekend :) We only had one set of trick n treaters! But thanks to nellis I won't be eating the left over sweeties (well I may have had a few :o) but they shall go in the Xmas box for stocking fillers.

Spent £40 on a costume :o I promise I shall use it every year from now on! Also spent £35 on a pair of ankle boots today :o They were £55 but I had a £20 voucher, I still feel naughty but you should see my current footwear!

It wasn't too bad not drinking on Sat night at the house party and it was nice being the sober one on Sun :p DH was basically dead all day.

P.S. He's already convinced its a boy and shall be called Dexter (which just brings to my mind the serial killer show called Dexter )
I plan to join TPA under the table anyway, to save chairs and less distance to fall when I've drunk your home-brew
    Good plan Radish :)

Glad to hear you got a dress for the wedding Kimmy, any luck on the accessories?

So we have ztan, gerbiljo, Lynn and pammy being broody :) Perhaps you'd like to be babysitters when the little one arrives? (god willing etc)

I've been over to the preg thread grateful, they all seem very nice. I'll be glad when I've been to the Docs, I've an over-active imagination and always imagine the worst.

I'm going to have to adapt the menu Froggy?!? I know I'm not allowed pate, blue cheese, brie ..... basically all my fav things at Christmas :( I was so looking forward to the blue brie. sigh.

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one who would get another test :)

Got pilates tonight and tomato soup from the freezer. Actually, I went through the entire freezer and there's about 20 meals in there!

That's good going SML... I think there's 20 bags of frozen veg in my freezer... so half of 20 meals! ;)

I'm always a willing babysitter! I'm chronically broody person at the moment, so please, furnish your diary with all sorts of baby related news! This way I can live vicariously... it'll be a while before I can be a expectant mother to be mortgage free wannabe! :rofl

  • OMG, I'm well out of my depth with anything vaguely child related (except when they get their teeth) but millions of congrats on your news!!

Glad you had a good Hallowe'en, it's my birthday so I always grumpy if we get trick or treated "It's my blimmin brithday, bug off while I treat myself!!!"

Still, since we moved to a scary looking house hidden by some trees we've not had any!

GerbilJo, our DD has just turned 2 and despite her not sleeping well we are trying for another!! btw, your 2010 overpayments are incredible - well done!

SmlSave - any early pregnancy symptoms? I found out I was pregnant with DD at 5 weeks and the symptoms kicked in at 9 weeks so always thought that next time it happened I would know straight away. I am hopeful for this month so hope to join all the pregnant MFW's very soon!

Have decided to be lazy and not to go swimming tonight, shall wrap myself in a blanket on the sofa. There's chill con carne deforsting on the side so that's another freezer meal ate :)

Spent £10 on lunch supplies which should last me till mid next week as well.

DH has supplied £500 towards the holiday :T
