Spud - don't underestimate how good walking is as exercise, a gentle walk/ jog is a good place to start.

Isn't he just:p
You wouldn't think he was just 2 days out of hospital with a hole in his back big enough fro me to get all my fingertips in. One of our friends is a nurse and she changed his dressing for him that morning and the morning after. He was doped up on antibiotics, painkillers and whisky by the time of the ceremony so vey happy:p He very cheekily added a bit to his speech about giving a pund of flesh:cool:26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

seriously though i was on run a minute walk a minute in april and manage now to run usually 2 miles, 30 minutes once or twice a week.... i am struggling to get much above that (although did 3 miles on my RFL)
If you were to train and start small, you would definately manage to do the 10k in the year training.... i am aiming for a 10k next year as well as RFL...
plus there is no shame in walking for 1 minute every half mile or so.... come to the running thread, i'll look after ya!!
(oh yeah, re the twins thing... you do not look like you should weigh that much either... i think we have lead bones, must be the twin thing!!)
I will have a go, even if I just do it round the house at first (using the Wii Fit) until I build up some confidence
Now where did I put them belly-holding-in nickers
I'm lucky (or not sometimes) to be 5ft 10, so that helps, but yeah I need to lose probably 5 stoneIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
