Aww, you are an :A hunni, thank you ever so much for offering but there's a tiny tiny local store I buy mine from and they have an offer on atm 5 tarts for £3.00, which is 60p a tart - a little more expensive but if you added postage an stuff, these are still cheap

I'd advise you to go for it hunni, and a friend of mine is currently in her second year, doing a nursing degree at 39 and she's loving it!! They do give you extra support and help when you are at uni or college if you are a mature student
I'll try to have a go with the new palette later

I'll look out for your pics later and if I'm successful may post my own for your comments!
I am so sad that I have no smilies.
good luck to both of you re: studying:D my sister did a nursing degree in her late 30s. She is in her 40s now and a qualified midwife. She loves her job. I guess it's never too late to go back to college/uni. I'm thinking of doing a course myself and I'm in my mid 40s:eek:
oliver2008, I keep losing my smilies too
one day they are there, then the next they are gone. I have them back at the moment:D
big thanks to mari500 for the No7 voucher. Off to spend it later:D0 -
re baskets poundland does a good size one which is oval and has two little handles plus wikinsons.
i did my MIL a basket the year before last with a big bathroom teddy bear hamper full of food goods. the basket was 10 pound but was a big bathroom one so thought at least she could use it afterwoods. i then cut up a lol of tinslel so it looked like lots of sparkles all over. she was quite gobsmacked when she recieved it..she is jamaican and never normally lost for words:rotfl: :T

I finally managed to part with my last 4 no7 vouchers, I had 2 pinkies and 2 spits. I got one R&M Foundation Brush = £1 after vouchers
and also got one R&M I pen (eyeshadow but in a pen) would post a pic from boots.com but it keeps loading me to a clarins page??? Anyways this was £1 after vouchers too and its a lovely turquoise colour similar to the no7 eyeliner that wont shift! Will not spend more money
, but will spend more time looking for that great bargain!:dance:0 -
Passion8, since you do gift baskets how much wrap would I need for 3 medium sized baskets, would 20m be enough? I'm new to all this lol - TIA

Enough to do 3 and probably a few more
I'll pop a pic up of one where I used about 4ft IIRC (might be slightly more as there was some gathering at the top)
ETA: Can't pop a pic up - only got the unwrapped pic lol. Sorry mrsbb but as glidergirl said, that's more than enough

:wave:Over here - me too ! (not scaredy cat, just keep getting sharp eyed SAs ! ).Morning all
cpg?
Despite what I said yesterday about not feeling bad about using the vouchers (even though another poster said the voucher is worth 20% to BCC) I couldn't do it. I had a lip gloss and blusher in the basket, which I'd had to ask them to get out of the drawer, and was looking for a third item for the 342 when it suddenly hit me how greedy it must appear, and how awful I felt. I had to hand them back, so the next time they appear, I'll pay with points.
*** I'm not certain but I think there was a poster on here who was putting the £2 off Digital Photo till split to good use. If whoever it is wants any, I've found half a dozen so can they PM if they want them pls?
Only shopped using up the No7 vouchers yesterday (thanks for the tip rubylou - I bought the nail files x 3 for £3 + 1 voucher and R&M buffers etc
) but still need to use a few up. (Think rubes and myself must be the only 2 peeps not using 2 x till splits to get the mascara and palette lol - I'm a real scaredy cat
)
There was more Botanics accessories out in the larger store yesterday with 75% off, but none in the other stores I looked in. Still worth looking for the gloves at 88p etc though.
Off to catch up
