No model me in this mag. OP is referring to previous mag which peeps found some had insert and others found it did not. Seems inserts were sent regionally or just randomly distributed to Boots stores.

As previously posted, will try to get extra copies of mags, for people without inserts and if you PM me, will post to you for SAE.

    Picture of vouchers in mag.

Hi; not been on on here or in Boots for over two weeks so have a quick question.

Decided to make my two sisters a hamper each for Christmas full of Botanics bits. I’ve got lots already (wipes, 3 min hair cond, body lotion, body scrub, shower gel, face masque) but still need a few more cheep bits.

Has anyone got any ideas if Botanics bits are on offer atm??? I sort of need two of everything so BOGOF would be ok.

I’m want to get all my Christmas stuff sorted out in the next month or so as I’m hoping to change job but it’ll be too one with a much lower salary. I need to got Christmas sorted and then I’ll better be able to see if I can afford it.

    Thanks

    Amy

i am sure this stuff is on offer just now oil is half price etc and there is 100 extra points in new mag for it too :D hth

That would be great Mrs Bluebear, I got this yesterday and I also got the peacock eyeliner but am unsure how to use it.

Can I ask what your studying? I am seriously contemplating going to College next year but think Im too old at 35

I haven't started yet, I start in a couple of weeks, and I'm doing a adult nursing degree :) I'd advise you to go for it hunni, and a friend of mine is currently in her second year, doing a nursing degree at 39 and she's loving it!! They do give you extra support and help when you are at uni or college if you are a mature student :)

I'll try to have a go with the new palette later :)

    Hi all

Can't see it on the first page and too many others to trawl through!!

Just wondering what the current spend voucher is in store and how much you need to spend to get it?

    Thanks :T

Good luck when you start!! I might just go for it, my oldest two are at High School and Im pretty sure childcare a couple of days a week wont hurt the younger ones.

I'll look out for your pics later and if I'm successful may post my own for your comments!

I am so sad that I have no smilies.
Finally, I can see you crystal clear

Sorry to quote myself but can anyone help me decide? xx

It's really hard for anyone else to determine, as we don't know the intimate details of your finances. Lots of things that I hem and haw over, it won't break the bank if I buy them. But when I was a student, every penny counted. And I spent very, very little for presents back then (which is fine, because no one I know then or now spends much on presents -- I'm going to be the big Santa this year with loads of gifts for people who probably won't have anything for me, in fact I'm telling most people NOT to give me anything as they can't afford it). But when you seriously can't afford buying something, don't. That philosophy kept me as the most stable one financially in my family through the years, even when I was the poorest one by far at my first low-paid job after university. I live within my means, and life is *much* happier when you do.

Plus, you can apply for all sorts of funding to help with childcare and stuff, depending on what course you do :) You should pop into your local college and have a chat ;)

Also, if I have time later, are people still wanting a step by step guide for using the new no7 GWP? I haven't got the step by step guide that was being given out, but could create my own one with pics and tips if people wanted?

Yes please mrsbluebear, the colours in this look like they might be more useful for me than the really bright colours in the autumn palette.

Bought one of the collection 2000 glittery eyeliners too and must go back and get more as I'm in love with them ...

Oliver2008, you are never too old to go to College or University! That's why they are there - for people to learn at any age, from 16 onwards, whatever they want! So go for it! Even if you just want to gently step back into college life, you could do an evening course for fun, like flower arranging, learn another language, etc.

I used to do evening courses, I studied First Aid, Spanish for beginners, Reiki, Level 1 and 2, Sign Language ( I love this one, I can listen to Deaf people talking to each other and know what they are saying!) But I also used it at work - we had deaf customers coming in, who were pleasantly suprised I could hold a very short conversation with them in a language they could understand. I am much better at finger spelling than signs but it is a very useful skill to have.

Hope this has given you the courage to think about going back.

MrsBlueBear - so pleased you got some bargains. Yes, charity shops will benefit from us Bootsers making christmas baskets as well as commercial stores.

Nearest Wilkinson to me is too far for me to get to by bus, so use charity shops instead, much easier for me.

I put a small candle, bath soaps in mine. It gives it that extra touch. Would have done the flannel but gave that away in a new mummy basket to my friend.

Brilliant, pics please when you are done.
