No model me in this mag. OP is referring to previous mag which peeps found some had insert and others found it did not. Seems inserts were sent regionally or just randomly distributed to Boots stores.

As previously posted, will try to get extra copies of mags, for people without inserts and if you PM me, will post to you for SAE.

    Picture of vouchers in mag.

    Thanks for that!

Got a couple of mags y'day, with this insert, have posted out to peeps this morning !!

Just wanted to make sure that the mags without the mens' insert was not containing the m.m range vchr pts...again. Wishful thinking!!!

    Hi all

Can't see it on the first page and too many others to trawl through!!

Just wondering what the current spend voucher is in store and how much you need to spend to get it?

    Thanks :T

it has a minimum spend of £30 on electrical goods, then save £5 on electrical goods.
  • Plus, you can apply for all sorts of funding to help with childcare and stuff, depending on what course you do :) You should pop into your local college and have a chat ;)
You know what I think I will. I always wanted to be a beautician but when I left school many many years ago my mum wasnt really that supportive, she said get a job, your life is being a mum etc yes I know really old fashioned, I've spent that last 13 years bringing up kids and now its time to do something I want.
Finally, I can see you crystal clear

does anyone know where i could get make up accs such as brushes and eye lash curlers from apart from boots? xx

Sorry if this has been answered, as I'm trying to catch up!

Poundland has some good brands (like Revlon), and the 99p store probably does, too. M&S also has some things that are far cheaper than Boots, even when they aren't having a sale.

ETA (Sorry for being off topic, and I will stop soon) Wilkinsons have some lovely oil burners for cheap (£1-£3ish) and I thought of a good idea. You can pick up them Yankee Wax Tarts (that you use in an oil burner) for as little as 95p so I was gonna include a burner and some yankee candle tarts in my baskets, for a little bath time luxury - thought it would look really expensive, and wilkinsons again has plain coloured face cloths for 25p

Sorry for being so off topic but thought it might be useful for all those creating baskets from their boots grabbit stashes :o[/quote]

    Snippy snip

Mrs BB, there is a shop near me that has Yankee tarts, samplers etc all 1/2 price. Nothing wrong with them, not 2nd's I have been buying from them for a year now, tarts are 50p.

If you want any just let me know and Ill pick them up for you :D

Local colleges and uni's are crying out for peeps to attend! as this retains their funding.
Loads of mature study classes (morn, afternoon and night)in uni campus, although you benefit more by way of loan, grant and hardship grant if you study fulltime

GO FOR IT...you will never regret!!!

  • Also, if I have time later, are people still wanting a step by step guide for using the new no7 GWP? I haven't got the step by step guide that was being given out, but could create my own one with pics and tips if people wanted?

Yes please, always LOVE your piccies. They were what persuaded me to buy the autumn palette which I still haven't used :o .

  • Oops, my post seemed to confuzzle peeps more :o

    Sorry!

The Model.me was in the *old* magazine and that offer has now expired.

The insert in the current mag (sept/oct 2008) is the men's guide to looking good which has the FCUK voucher etc. HTH

I'm off to town later, I desperately [STRIKE]want[/STRIKE] NEED the S&G Clean of England shower gel (the orange colour one) cos I lurve it :p and haven't seen it recently, hoping they haven't discontinued it!

Sorry to veer off topic but would like some input:

Daughter left her keys at home the other day and rang me in a panic as she needed to get into her locker at school for her PE kit - if she didn't have her kit she would get a detention. So I said, ok, wait on the bus stop, I'll be there in 5 (and I was) gave her keys, and she ended up getting the bus after the normal time, so she was then late by 10 mins to class registration. (I don't drive so couldn't have driven her to school)

So she gets a detention for being late! I felt this harsh as she only missed 10 minutes of chit chat with her friends as opposed to sitting out a PE lesson - she said explained to the head teacher why she was late - and I notified her form tutor too that she was on the way - and why!

I want to say something to the school, cos its not as if she dawdled to get there late, she had a genuine reason, and she's a good kid (most of the time:rolleyes: ) err I don't quite know whether the school is in the right on this or not.... I have my numpty head on today :o but also don 't want to give her the idea she can rack up detentions etc and then have me come along and bail her out!

Where's the instruction book for kids? Sure as heck ain't where I left it

    Hi :)

Have you looked on this thread I_am_mad_ ?

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=309335&page=196

You'll be surprised at how far your money can go, and how much nicer you can make a gift set look by personalising it. Although it takes a while to trawl through, it only takes about the same time as trying to get the new (but useless lol) Boots dot com site to work ;)
