but how much did you spend in order to get that many?

About £200, so take off the £150 in points, and ive got about 20 carrier bags of goodies for about £50. One of the bags alone would cost more than that at normal prices.

But it was only possible with the 200 points time delay, 500 points jk files, and 250 points No7 vouchers.
  • Oh and if you are looking for baskets but live miles away from the bargain stores, this is a good site: http://www.floralessential.co.uk/acatalog/Baskets.html?gclid=CInHqISO1pUCFQ6T1QoduBTvYg

ETA (Sorry for being off topic, and I will stop soon) Wilkinsons have some lovely oil burners for cheap (£1-£3ish) and I thought of a good idea. You can pick up them Yankee Wax Tarts (that you use in an oil burner) for as little as 95p so I was gonna include a burner and some yankee candle tarts in my baskets, for a little bath time luxury - thought it would look really expensive, and wilkinsons again has plain coloured face cloths for 25p

Sorry for being so off topic but thought it might be useful for all those creating baskets from their boots grabbit stashes :o

    Snippy snip

Mrs BB, there is a shop near me that has Yankee tarts, samplers etc all 1/2 price. Nothing wrong with them, not 2nd's I have been buying from them for a year now, tarts are 50p.

If you want any just let me know and Ill pick them up for you :D[/quote]

Aww, you are an :A hunni, thank you ever so much for offering but there's a tiny tiny local store I buy mine from and they have an offer on atm 5 tarts for £3.00, which is 60p a tart - a little more expensive but if you added postage an stuff, these are still cheap :)

I haven't started yet, I start in a couple of weeks, and I'm doing a adult nursing degree :) I'd advise you to go for it hunni, and a friend of mine is currently in her second year, doing a nursing degree at 39 and she's loving it!! They do give you extra support and help when you are at uni or college if you are a mature student :)

Just seconding what mrsbb has said - go for it. I went back when I was in my 40's and thought I was too old but there were some people who were 20 years older  lol.

Most colleges welcome mature students as they tend to last the course better than the younger ones. Unfortunately, I had to drop out, but whilst I was there not only was I educating myself, but my social life improved tenfold :D You make some brilliant new friends :)

    thanks RedBalloon.

Sometime ago, someone mentioned making shoeboxes for the armed forces. They had a list of the items you should put in there. Could they please PM me if they are still reading this site.

Have some stuff to send that I "bought" with points, and need to know what else to put in the shoeboxes.

    Thank you.
    you have a pm

I like the Tysha baskets (bottom of the page)!:T
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".
