With vouchers, you should know that you don't necessarily have to buy the item to get the money off. Most vouchers, when scanned, are not checked against the item scanned on the till. The job of checking falls to the cashier, who will usually not remember if they have put the item through/are too lazy to read the coupon/are too lazy to scroll up and check if they have scanned it (well, I am anyway).
So you can get the face value of the voucher off the bill even if it is for 50% off an item you haven't actually selected.
Also, a few supermarkets have a policy of accepting as many individual vouchers as you can produce, regardless of what has been bought, as long as the value of the vouchers is not higher than the total to be tendered.0 -
Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but, our local Asda at Leamington Spa has a 'Pet Event' on with all sorts of savings on pet foods and other items.
I just picked up some Iams dog food that retails at over £9 for a 3kilo bag, for £5. I normally pay at least £8.50 for it so it has saved me quite a lot as its virtually BOGOF.
There are other foods as well.0 -
I've found a 50p off coupon (that can be redeemed at any supermarket) off a 4 x pack of Robinsons Fruit Shoot drink. You just have to visit the Fruitshoot website parents page, sign up for their newsletter and print of the online coupon.

hi, i work in tescos and as a part of our training we are to be aware that coupons arent always genuine,.
Recently we got a tip of from somewhere that there was fake tesco coupons going around.
That made me think about the coupons that were mentioned on here.
I myself printed out a coupon for per biotic drink (cant spell that flipping thing but you know what i mean). It had tescos name marked on it. But since reading all this rigmarole that there is on it being refused at the till i never bothered to use it.
I just wonder to myself does the coupon scan at the tills ok.
The coupon i had had a barcode on it suppose it would scan. Usually when a coupon doesnt scan at the till we are not allowed to accept it.mmmmmmmmmmmm
gurrrrrrrrr not good ehhhh. :mad:0 -
