My Asda, Metro Centre also wouldn't take coupons unless I had bought the product. Is Tesco still taking coupons?0

If you read the front page of the Metro (I get the eMetro delivered to my InBox) the headline is that Supermarket food sales is down 0.1%!! Probably down to tighter ASDA moc rules  Mind you if T's & W's do the same across the board it will prolly be more like 5% down....Serves them right:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!
:p :rotfl:;)

Asda checkout operators are now informing customers that they will no longer take coupons from 3rd nov, unless they purchase the product. I will say though the store I work for do take internet coupons, but we have gone through phases were we have not. It is down to the individual stores what they take, all I can suggest is to ask. If you get a no then ask again at later date because the policy does change all the time.0

Here are some things which I have noticed over the years of exchanging
- Tesco is probably the best store to exchange most coupons. I imagine they make a profit on them. They get the money back plus a handling charge. I have been exchanging coupons for years, when you use to get stacks of them through the letterbox. They will not exchange multiple coupons for only 1 item. They take e-coupons ok.
- Tesco did go through a period of non-exchange on coupons in which the product was not brought.
- If you can find a till assistant you know, then they are good at exchanging.
- There seems to be less and less companies issuing coupons, this maybe due to the cost involved, the way they may feel get "ripped off" by non product purchases.0 -
The For Goodness Shake offer (as on the main coupons page) is no longer getable. They have pulled it, which is odd as the vouchers didn't run out till way into next year, but apparently it was too popular. lol.
As for Asda not accepting any vouchers, I think its terrible. Bet they don't let anyone know untill they get to the till and present them either. I just hope enough people tell them where to go and leave the items they had vouchers for at the tills and they change policy. I'm lucky to have a Tesco nearby. Go Tesco!!0 -
Is it possible to get these coupons sent as opposed to printing them yourself.
Its just some checkout staff look at them as if you have handed them an alien.
I got the Nescafe coupon and it asks if you have a printer or not, but not managed to find any others.
I have sent off for the Regina toilet paper coupons, price of a stamp/envelope, but think they send you quite a few ££ of coupons.
Also the 4 roll is on offer in sainsburys for £1.32 (down from £1.99)0 -
