    Woohoo

Gas man is here - and it it an electtrical fault - but internal - ie - in the boiler so it will be fixed for free! Hopefully today if he can find a 2A fuse!

This is fab news as DS has footy training tonight and will come in caked in mud!

Thinks...why have I cleaned bathroom today then?

No more lugging kettle upstairs! Or filling flasks!

    Polka

I don't know where (geographically) you are but I have seen Stardrops in Morrisons, Sainsbury's round here. I have also seen it in our local very (very very) old fashioned traditional ironmongers - but not in a flat plastic bottle in a round (glass?) one. Do you have a Wilkinsons? Any old fashioned shops selling buckets etc?

    update.gif

Parts have been ordered and crossfingers.gif will be here tomorrow so a revisit has been booked for between 8am and 10 am - he says he will be here around 10 to 9 as he doesn't start till 8.30 and has to pick up the parts first. Now I will have to ring up ma and pa to see if DS can bath/shower there after football and will ask sweetly if I too can have a shower as only able to have a swish and swipe of self this am! reminded me of the bedbath I had after DS was born (section - eventually) oh it was BLISS I felt SO CLEAN after that!
Edited to add that I have phoned ma and showers have been booked - DD in first while I pick up DS then he will have his then I will have mine so that I can clean up after him! Have arranged to take our own towels - they were going in the wash tonight anyway...and my bathroom will stay pristine! ***Valli sniggers in style of Muttley***
