    Hi

Aww Polkadot that picture is so cute.

Hugs to Johanne i hope you feel better soon. I very rarely got Ds2 weighed, usually only when he had jabs or check ups. i think as long as you know she's feeding well and putting on weight i wouldn't worry.

All children have been picked up, i picked up ds2 from nursery we got about a minute down the road and he fell asleep. he's just woken up now so hopefully he should still go to bed tonight at a reasonable time.

I picked up Ds1 from OH's house and the new kitchen was being delivered, now this is the kitchen that he picked all by himself:rolleyes: i only saw a bit of the worktop but it's horrid:eek: all browny black . Hopefully it'll be better once it's done.

I can't wait until he fits it and i don't have to feed the 7 of us any more. I was only supposed to be doing it for a couple of weeks but it's been 2 years now. Hopefully by the time the house is finished ( the way it's going it'll be about another 2 years) the girls should have moved out and i'll only have to cook for 5.

kitchen is all wiped, surfaces cleaned, floor swept, appliances wiped and shiny unfortunately need to start on tea so no doubt all my hard work will go to waste.

will finish LR after tea only needs a hoover and a polish and I have helpers for that..
  • Johanne, I'm not a parent myself, but I would say the fact that you're caring enough to worry and ask the question, tells me NO you're not a bad mum. Don't feel guilty - don't stress, keep sharing your thoughts/worries with us and there will be lots of support for you on here I'm sure.

Johanne - it sounds like Sarah is doing fine. I obsessed with my first child to the extent that I expressed for 8 months because she wouldn't breast feed. I was so uptight about it all and only relaxed when I realised how ridiculous it was that I was being told my child was too long!!! When DS came along I think I got him weighed twice. He was also 'too tall'! Hope you're feeling better soon xx

Tiddles.. is 4 in november and was last weighed at... 6 months old.. before that it was 2 weeks and before that it was the day we were discharged from hospital (or the day I stomped out!) and before that her birth... Johanne.. if she is happy and you are happy that is all that matters.. they only make you worry about something that is nothing to worry about if you go to clinics.. I haven't had a HV for years and they all (in my experience!!) spout bull**** ... when I meet one that does otherwise I will be very shocked and I will also possibly change my opinion!!

I found the best thing is to ask various people thier opinion then take from that what I feel will be helpful.

  • Evening ladies:D

Johanne - I never took LO to baby clinic to get weighed:o I knew she would be pretty much off the chart so didnt bother. Like someone else said though, the fact you are worried and asking the question shows that you are a good mum.

Polkadot - didnt actually use a specific recipe, hubby was on computer til after i made it so didnt see your post til i was done. I have bookmarked that site for later use though:D Actually eating as i type, is yummy, have made a huge batch so is plenty for the freezer for 'ready meals'.

Got myself enroled at uni, need to back tomorrow to get my matriculation card etc.

DS1 home and delighted that he has been picked for the District Football team.

Going to bath DS3 now as I am having my hair cut at 7:30 and want him ready for bed.
