Just a thought for any of you with bedwetters - and you probably do this but...they need to have a bath/shower in the morning because the smell (of urine - sorry!) develops over the day - and these days, with warm classrooms, it can be VERY noticeable!

  • Signed up for dual fuel on BG, should save about £400 on standard tariff, I know shame on me I've not made the effort to switch before now on gas/electricity.

Spent the rest of the morning cancelling all my online survey and review accounts as I've not got time to do them - I'm going back to full time working on Monday after 6 months off sick then 2 months P/T, so the cleaning schedule might get a bit erratic methinks... (and the having a life schedule too, I got quite used to pottering about at home - while poor DH was left to run the house single-handed poor soul - definitely caught me a good one there).

Me going back to F/t is why we're trying to get organised, but what a c**p way to spend a summer hol boo hoo. Only consolation is we didn't spend money to go away and get rained on... Not much of a silver lining but hey ho.

Off now to see about getting a better deal on home insurance - not sure about this one as deal we have is tied to them holding our deeds for us since we paid the mortgage off, so will have to see what to do with the deeds if we decide to change supplier. I've a feeling it could get complicated!

No more progress on daily list, but bed change and sheet wash booked in for later.
MFW Challenge (Tgt Date Nov 07): ACHIEVED FEB 07!
Mthly Savings (Tgt 60% of Inc): Average 41.67% (but we have just paid for a new kitchen!)
    Savings Goal £500k (Target Date 50th B'Day Nov 17): 30.41%
