Not doing well so far but had to show you this, I was being nosey at other rentals available and spotted this http://www.pattinson.co.uk/Public/content/Rent/Estate-Agents/Property-To-Let/9685.htm seriously you'd tidy up the work surfaces wouldn't you? Caught my eye as it's £100 a month cheaper but half the house I think aswell...

Hi all, just got back as ended up going with my Mum and got nothing done which is why I was catching up in the first place. Never mind, did get to spend some time with my Mum so that's always good.

Lil_me must ask, why is there a picture of a bathroom window, and in the bedrooms it just seems like windows and then theres the back door plus the hall door - do you think they have a window and door fettish???;) :rotfl: :rotfl:

And even on a rental, you could hide most of that in the sink, or even just push it to one side for the photo couldn't you... amazing how some people want to sell or rent their homes.... (just don't look at my house with a camera - can often be found in similar situation, but I'm not selling or renting - thats my excuse :D )

Dunno, anyone know where I can get a car for less than £350 :o

Do you know anyone who is 'knowledgeable' about cars? because if you do you can get some real bargains at auction, but I would take someone with you as you can check them out first then.

We have one at Chelmsford and some good little runarounds often go for that sort of price there (obviously old, but still good for a few miles yet - bit like me! :rotfl: )

    Morning all

Sorry i haven't had a chance to fully catch up with the thread so will do that as i go through the day, its huge again!!!lol

I took the gift for my friend on saturday and bless her she was in floods of tears happy tears though, and then yesterday i bought her some freezer food and took that through, tears again, she is such an emotional lass. At least she liked it. So i did do some cleaning yesterday but not as much as i would have liked .

    Plan for today

[strike]Make packed lunches and get kids ready for school[/strike]
    [strike]
    Make beds
    [/strike][strike]swish bathroom [/strike]
[strike]bet bathed and wash hair [/strike]
go to playgroup at 9:30 until 11:15 then home feed little man Didn't go he dint wake up until 9:30am, put him to bed and start the flying list.

Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer, cooker hood and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
    Extra Mission : help yourself

    1. Muck out the fridge.. use up all thos ebits that are on the verge of getting themselves out of the fridge and biting you!
    2. Empty the medicine cabinet.. throw out everything manky/out of date (some medicines are actually poisonous after a certain length of time!!.. AB's being one of them!!) and restock.. all those coughs and snots that will be flying around, sore throats and wheezes... go on.. shoo...........
    3. 34 fling boogie..
    4. GO! Get yourself a treat for being wonderful!!

Triker try round the back of local garages, most send trade ins to auction but they tend to sit out the back until they have a few, only thing against you is the price of scrap. www.adtrader.co.uk I have used before aswell. www.autotrader.co.uk can be worth a nosey. ebay too, I got my Jeep off there a couple of years ago.

    Mudbath ((hugs))

chunky well done for being a lovely friend x
One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Was feeling a bit down earlier as did loads this morning but have got nowhere fast this afternoon, then checked off my list and I'm all done, so really chuffed.blissysmile.gifblissysmile.gifblissysmile.gif

Only things not done are mucking out the fridge - did at the weekend
Clean oven - again already sparkling from last week (did s&s the hob)
medicine cupboard - already done (have to, as I have so many pills they don't fit in otherwise...)

I even cleaned the kitchen windows this morning, that was before I checked the list, as they were filthy where the dogs keep jumping up the door, so did all 4 while I was there (they're not very big)

So now I can get on and tidy the office/spare room and clear my desk as I really want to make an effort this week on my business, do my business plan and check out some potential clients...crossfingers.gif

Polkadot really glad that BL was helpful for you - that reminds me, I was given a brilliant business plan package from my advisor that I will try to PM you - just helps you to see where you want to go and if you are on the right track - they will help you complete it if you're not sure...
