Did the pasta bake (white sauce) last weekend - kids enjoyed it but it was fairly bland...needed something else to give it a bit of flavour!! My DS2 is really fussy, but might try a tomato based one next time!
Thanks for all the advice everyone!!:T20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

Should it be condensed soup? Do you have to precook the pasta?MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0

yes i pre cook pasta until its slightly under done - i use the condensed cos i like it but do water it down a bit - i guess you could use other kinds of soup you may need to add a little flour to thicken??The mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work unless it’s open.:o

Heres one for ham and mushroom and one for chicken and broccoli.
If you're using soup I would say definitely use condensed! And part cook the pasta.

Half cup of pasta per person
any leftover veg from fridge, cooked or uncooked.(broccoli and cauli go at bit mushy if already cooked)
Pre-cooked chicken( just poach in a little water for 10 mins or so),ham, turkey or whatever, about 1 cup, but could be more.
I can soup- mix soup with double the can size of water in a jug and pou on. If it's bachelors condensed soup, it's 3 cans of water.
Mix it all together in a shallow dish
In oven for 1 hour, adding a handful of grated cheese 15 mins from the end.

I make one with chilli, garlic, yellow pepper and chorizo - mixed with cooked pasta and a tin of tomatoes, topped with cheese and cooked for 20 mins.0
