if they are claiming item not received then paypal will refund them the £60 unless you can provide a tracking number that shows proof of delivery

    Hi hun,

They are claiming item not received but have clearly stated in the dispute and email messages etc that they have received the item. I should hopefully also be able to provide the RM trackin no. (just waitin for OH to get home to see if he knows where Ive put the darn receipt)..Im starting to hate ebay/.

To be honest if the messages were sent via ebay etc there be on file, or email, guess you would keep them.
If a buyer has to return a product for whatever reason, paypal will ask for prrof of return, a proof of postage certificate is not enough for ebay/paypal in reality, I know its hard, but you need to not let it worry you, she may well escalaute a complaint to paypal, they will ask her to send the item back to you, with suitable traceable methods. (shes already sent back or says she has, no proper proof,) just let its go its natural course and put your feet up and try not to worry. (i know easier said than done), but you have got hubby and a very special person coming into your life, there your priotioy (excuse spelling) and thats what you need to remember. xx

even if they have stated they received the item, the only thing that will stop them getting their money back in a dispute is a tracking number showing proof of delivery

if the buyer is claiming item not received then paypal won't ask them to return the item, because there is nothing to return if they are claiming it hasn't been received.

if the buyer was claiming item not as described then paypal would ask them to return the item by a trackable method.

But, and this is a big but, surely if the buyer opens an INR and has their opening statement confirm that they received it, then PayPal should throw it out as the wrong type of dispute?

I can understand them not trawling through emails, but with the evidence so clear will they insist on sticking to their A - B - C formula?
