We could just buy everything that has to do with christmas, and from the 1st of january we will plan and build our grotto for the orphans through out the year untill it gets to christmas time again and every year we would have to have a new theme so we would have to buy more christmas stuff, we could employ people to be elves and father christmas and wouldnt it be good if we had a mother christmas????!!!!!! we could rent reindeer and a giant sleigh for us all to ride on with fathar christmas and the elves, we could have giant snowmen and candy canes. We could buy a field and make fake snow for the sleigh ride........ I've thought about this a little too much :rotfl:
Me me me . Can I be an elf ? :j
I really want a girls elf costume to wear around the house but I think my boys (8 & 6) might disown me and leave home :rotfl:
That would be my dreaam job lol. If I did not have dd (9m) to look after I'd be aplying for elf jobs in Manchester this christmas.
How cool would that be. oooh I really want to do it. Maybe I could get an evening job?
Now where to find such jobs?????

I worked as an elf two Christmases running, and then a third year as a photographer in the same place.
It's harder work than you think - I was working a 12 hour shift, then costuming/makeup time and 1hr travel in each direction. And then you'd think that people would be in a good mood meeting Santa, but they're not. More than half the kids I brought into meet Santa hated the very socks off him.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Claffy's I am in Manchester too!!!! Now when all the grottos come out I will shout ''Claffy's did you get the job'' to see if your there!!!! The minute me and Mel open our grotto you can have pride of place as HEAD ELF!!!!!0

Oh my word I think you should record that on your phone.. Shevs wondering around shouting "CLAFFYS... CLAFFY THE ELF?? where are you??" It would be a classic.
She will probably be sitting on here with me:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
I will probably be carted off and sectioned if I went to every grotto shouting that I am looking for Claffy.0

Yeh but it would be funny though wouldn't it:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0

Yeah you could just imagine it I would go to all the grottos looking for claffy dressed as an elf myself, hoping she can get me a job aswell, then the real elves would call security and cart me out, but I would go back so many times that they hold me there till a secure paddy wagon and straight jacket could be acquired and off I would go on my merry way with the nice doctors.0

MONDAY 15th SEPTEMBER - 14 weeks 4 days to go!
Today on Organized Christmas we have the oppurtunity to make a gift wrap station:
http://www.hgtv.com/cr-occasions-gift-wrap/gift-wrap-center/index.html
I think this looks really interesting and would be one way to stop me from losing the scissors a billion times! Pop a bin bag over and it can store all your wrapping odds and ends away till the next christmas nice and safe.
Anyone going to make one?:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0
