  • Hi

Hope everyone is well. Sorry I've not posted for a while but have been busy. However, I have managed to write some Xmas cards and buy some gifts. I received some great news this morning, DH and I have been trying via local housing authority to move house because we need somewhere more suitable for a disabled person and THEY'VE OFFEERED US SOMEWHERE :j  :D  _party_ . It's totally suitable for us. So I'm going to have to be super-organised this Xmas

Yup, snowing here too! Its 6am, I've been up since 3.40am (Kieran woke up - WIDE awake!) and proceeded to play in the dark "toot toot" until now - he keeps falling asleep on the floor until I try and pick him up and he wakes and starts shouting, he isnow on the floor, wrapped in his duvet on a pillow, I'm on my third coffee, the central heating is on (could see our breath!)- but its all ok because its snowing!

I need to get out more!

    On the upside I have.....
done my Xmas card list (am sending a few digital ones thisyear if I can find a nice one - there was one once over where you had to "click" on the chimney to start smoking, the tree to light up etc - anyone seen it?).
Sourced a few more bits for my hampers on ebay,
    updated my "bought/to buy" list,
and pulled out my Tesco saving stamps and bit and pieces of vouchers already this morning.
I have a christmas event today so am hoping the snow makes it extra xmassy and ups sales somore money for the pot!

    That cake is gorgeous!

Just found this thread. I've been making Christmas cards the past few days - I bought a bunch of kits from the pound shop to get some bits in (haven't done anything crafty in years), and I'm ignoring the designs and making things customised to each recipients interests.

We've got puddings in. Next week the decorations go up, and the week after I think I'll make some truffles.

I like that Organized Christmas site - I don't think I'll follow it to the letter, but there's some great tips on there.
