Other than clear cookies, cache, disable popup blockers and firewalls briefly, in IE settings, try Clear SSL State and in the Advanced section check that both SSL 3.0 and SSL 2.0 are ticked. Also check your computer's time/date is accurate.
  • I am also having similar problems with accessing various web sites including my online banking and eBay. I have tried the tips above but this has not sorted the problem. I am using AOL via my Netgear Wireless router and Firefox browser. I have also tried I.E and the AOL Browser but have same problem.

    Any help much appreciated.

Hi Mr Skint have just tried this but still cannot access banking site.

I have run Crap Cleaner, Search and Destroy and virus scans which showed no problems.

Yes Chippy's links look very useful, have you tried what's suggested there?

  • I had a problem accessing various websites, what I did was turn off the modem and router for a few seconds and then turned them back on, problem solved!
